Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
See that Wade is being linked to Exeter with them losing O'Flaherty To me he doesn't really seem like he fits Exeter's style of play for wingers, if Bristol had any money left I would have said that would be one of the better fits for him. In attack I think he perfectly fits their system as the att...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Saturday 07th May 2022 - 5-30pm KO
I have always wondered how much the Pro 14 title actually means to those taking part. Clearly English clubs see a great deal of importance in winning the league but is it the same for the pro 14 clubs or is it taken as a competition to be used to keep players fit and in form ofr Europe? Am I paying...

Re: Keep the kicking tee away from Ford?
I thought Ford was a good example for those around him. He was fired up and committed. The attack isn't ticking but there might be other reasons for that.

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
No seen the highlights but wondering if WW and in some reports Ford having off games affected the rest. I don't think Ford had an off game. He was solid but nothing special, kept looking for a pass that wasn't there. I think he and we (the team) are really missing Dan Kelly. His defensive class has...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 04th June 2022 KO 15:00
Ashton in for Nadolo, he's looking hungry in defence and attack every time I've seen him play. Nadolo, sadly, slow and lumbering and kicks the ball like an old fashioned prop. Disagree. Nadolo got left grasping at thin air for the Radwan step but in the same move Porter got stepped and left for dea...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
Kyle Cooper could be a shrewd signing I think. At 33, having just failed to convert to prop successfully he wouldn't cost a lot but he was a really good hooker before the switch. As a hooker he'd fit Borthwick's style of play. Completely thinking out loud on my part but I've mentioned before that I...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
I have no rumours. I just thought we needed a recent page for this which doesn't include posts nearly two years old... :smt001 I hope this helps but it does not cover our Academy promotions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2022%E2%80%9323_Premiership_Rugby_transfers Yes Dragons are clearing o...

Thanks for the info re Whitcombe maybe giving lady Gaga a run in case of injuries to a couple of loosehead in the run in Yeah very much that as if any loosehead or tighthead were to get injured Leatigaga would be a favourite to come into the side as bench cover. His carrying game and turnover work ...

Tom Manz was on the bench Vs Connacht but didn't come on.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
Manz would be a monstrous 6. He's 6,6 18+ stone already isn't he and still growing. Will most definitely end up in the row Which Manz we talking about I suppose is the question as the Tigers website has Tom Manz at 6ft8 and well over 18 stone, description is just lock. His younger brother I think i...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
Aren’t we rumoured to be signing Odiase. Couldn’t blame Tomiwa for wanting to leave as even in the PRC he’d struggle for game time. 6. Ilione, Manz 7. Odiase, Illione 8. Jansen, Ilione Is Manz a realistic option at 6? Genuinely I don't know I just got the impression he was quite a bit unit and a sp...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
I’m not sure, he’s liked a few comments that say things along the lines of “looking forward to seeing you more in the Tigers 6 shirt next season”. Not sure he’d like them if he was off? Could just be me, but I think Tomiwa will be staying around with Tigers next season. I hope so anyway! Let’s hope...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
When you look at how many back rowers we have used I don't see why there wouldn't be space for him really. Agreed. Injuries, suspensions and call ups happen. Borthwick likes to rotate and we don't like sending out key players to the PRC. There will be chances for him. 4. Wells, Chessum, Manz 5. Gre...
