i think their u20's are their capture team. meaning he won't qualify unless he has english parents or grandparents? I think thats why Hanro isn't qualified? If he is on a 4 year contract - will he qualify for England through the residency rule? It's now a 5 year residency requirement So unless he h...

Beets could be a very good signing. He's obviously very highly rated. Looks like a powerful ball carrier we can develop. The Bulls have one international 6/8 in Louw and another who's going to soon become an 8 in Hannekom (Wales have allegedly tried to get him to change allegiance). It's some produc...

With a development squad stacked with young lock options, three international locks and then a solid clubman in Wells if we are signing another lock then need to show a real point of difference. We don't need just a lock, a 20+ stone monster who won't last the full 80 mins but will provide impact f...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
France's tries were pure class. England scored due to poor defence. As was the case last week, the best team won IMHO. :smt044 Cause it's pure class to slice a hack through off an overthrown lineout. Two sides played a very good test match at a frenetic pace with a huge amount of physicality. Engla...

I heard him give a clear warning before the first yellow card. Not a jock wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 12:02 pm
Did the ref issue a warning? (perhaps he did but not audible to those in the crowd or TV viewers).

It's easy to say "they've had lots of rest in those rest weeks" if the lads come back battered from hard games from today then we might well need to give them a week off. Or at least stagger the rest so perhaps Martin plays next week and then takes the following week off whilst Chessum doe...

Fissler reporting Nicky Smith has signed with us for next season… very very good pick up if true! That would be outstanding news. Very good scrummaging prop who's bizarrely out of international favour. Not sure he'll offer a great deal more in carrying than what we have already. He's been pretty du...

I'm unsure why we keep trying to crowbar Kata onto the wing. He was poor there in the world cup and has been great at centre for us. Scott was poor last night and Kelly anonymous I don't see why we need to include both. Cronin, Montoya, Heyes Wells, Hatherall Ilione, Weise, Liebenburg Youngs, Pollar...

Yeah, when the TV coverage cut to DM in the second half he didn't look like he thought it was enough. He looked more than slightly peeved.

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm
We looked so much better when Ilione came on and we had an actual openside to link and support the attack. Allowed us to play wider as we had a backrow mobile enough to keep up without sacrificing Liebenburg. McKellar needs to learn that we need an openside on the field and this dual blindside thing...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm
This is the most concerning performance of the season for me. So long to prepare and yet terrible. I doubt we spent a long time preparing for this one. Glaws are almost at full strength and we're missing the majority of the team. Glaws aren't a bad team and injuries have played a significant role w...

Sub the kids on at this point. Edwards, Ilione, Whitcombe and Shillcock. We looked tired.

I don't think we passed him the ball.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 9:04 pmNeither is there half back pairing but they’re still doing alright.
What has happened to Kelly this season?
You can tell there's no attack coach. We don't know what to do with it when we get it.
