Re: Lots of new signings for other clubs
I think we have a great squad at the minute and even with the players leaving we are still in a strong position. The replacements we're signing look good acquisitions to me and I think we'll be challenging for more silverware next year.

Re: Hamilton charge down??
Not sure about it being a great idea to quickly pick the ball up and drop goal it, I know a lot of flankers that would take the opportunity to flatten the place kicker if they tried that. Our team leaves the pressuring of conversions to the 6 foot 5 nightclub bouncer that plays at OC. He's massive a...

Re: Vickerman signs for Falcons
I'm quite impressed with the Newcastle recruits so far, they are cheap, young and mainly English. Most seem to have a more mobile and attacking mind set as well. If they can get some more front five quality and a couple more utility players then I would tip them as the possible dark horses of next s...

Re: The Alex Tuilagi thing still riles me...
That was a late cynical shoulder charge. Tuilagi's was just a late tackle, a very clumsy one but he clearly wraps and does try and pull out. Nice to see that there is an international standard isn't it.

Re: Johnne Murphy
He did have a bad game against Cardiff but his mistakes came from his confidence in trying new things to try and gain us more points so it was hard to condemn him. He did the same this week but the bounce of the ball was a little more favourable and he had a great game, thats just the way it goes. H...

Re: Kicker For Next Season
Johnne Murphy has taking over goal kicking duties for us before now. I say give Twelvetrees a go he's a local boy and has been doing the business for Bedford all year. Then again we could poach another French kicking scrum half to keep the competition fierce within the squad, with all the French clu...

Re: BEN WOODS
I do love to see Tigers players in the England team but at the same time we may be in a bit of trouble if they decide to borrow Croft, Moody, Crane and Woods for the AIs and 6N.

Not included in the squad so maybe he's not quite 100% well that or Cockerill just doesn't rate him very highly.

Flood, Hougaard, Deacon and Blaze out with Tuilagi suspended. As far as I know everyone else is good to go.

Re: Tom Biggs signs for ................
Falcons reccent recruitments are looking towards a very mobile team and a lot of the players leaving aren't that great. There has been a couple of big losses in Dowson and Wilson but May (half a season of good rugby), Wilko (always injured and on big pay), Noon, Buist and Phillips aren't big losses....

Re: Abendanon looking for revenge
He seems very keen on bigging this game up doesn't he. Saw an interview the other week where he said he was glad that Bath had drawn Tigers and happy that Tuilagi wasn't playing. Could come back to bite him in backside that espiecially if it motivates Crofty and Moody to seek him out under the high ...

Re: Who should be the captain come the final?
Cozza is the club captain and after his many years of devoted service should be allowed to lead the team out and lift any trophies we win. Its his last year and he deserves all the accolades but if not him than Murphy as it is his testimonial year and he has led the team so well reccently.

Re: Kayser wants Dupuy at Stade
It'll be a real shame to see him go as it has been great having two very good scrum halves with completely different strengths. I was hoping he'd be convinced to stay one more year so that Ben Youngs could get a bit more experience before he becomes the second choice. If he wants to go though we sho...

Re: Johne Murphy
Hipkiss smashed Shanklin well back from the gain line time and time again he was a big factor in denting the Blues defence. Made hard yards in the midfield all game, not eye catching but exactly what we needed from him.He played a mixed game like Hipkiss who i thought was poor

Re: Tom Croft
Croft was brilliant once again, two try saving tackles, brilliant breaks ball in hand and he and Kay did a complete demolition job on the Cardiff line out. Quinlan is going to get a big ban and rightfully so, Croft will be in SA this summer!
