Re: French Rugby 2021/2022

Toulon seem to be at the wrong end of the table and some beatings, wheels coming off the juggernaut? or is the owner getting bored?

Re: Exeter's woes

Interesting to read on the Exeter unofficial forum that fans are talking about there's no fun any more and they have not renewed their season tickets................after only two games.

Re: Progress under Borthwick 2021/22

This coming weekend is a bigger test, win that one and I believe sides will again have that fear of coming to Welford Road, and the word fear has been quoted by visiting players in the past, we need that back again and the Welford Road crowd lifting the sides to greater heights.

A good win away at Glaws, the table will tell the story at the end of the season, away wins will be few and far between, some neutrals on other clubs forums were impressed by us tonight.

Team thoughts for Glaws on Friday?

I am kind of expecting a fair amount of rotation as per last season for this away game, though whilst I understand the long term gain from this policy, I would like to see the core of the side that won't be away for the AI's getting more game time to get us through that period. We need to rest any p...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

I like the selections made, just wish we had put in some stronger pre season performances to make me think we are going to win this game. The side is capable and certainly the full strength side with our SH players available are capable of beating anyone, lets hope Exeter's poor form from last weeks...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: There and Back again a Tigers Tale by Steve Borthwick

I'm a touch surprised that Jake Farnworth wasn't added given the partnership with Nottingham but Tom Cowan-Dickie is meant to be a really solid hooker that quite a few people are surprised hasn't had a look in at Premiership level already so seems like a decent bit of cover whilst Montoya and Clare...

I knew Hoyt was highly rated but going straight to the Championship rather than Loughborough or the Lions at his age is impressive. He's a huge unit so should be physically ready.
I was at the Lions last week, at that time no Tigers were on loan/DR to them.

Scarlets visit - Thursday 09th September 2021

I'm hoping for a team close to our best side, whatever that might be, obviously ,missing our SH international players, but something close to the side that will start against Exeter.

Exactly the only time it's undefendable is if they bounce right on the edge by the touchline, which is high risk, overcook it straight to touch and it's abswing from your lineout in the opposition 22 and their lineout in your half
What's an abswing?
