Re: Gallagher Premiership Week 5 (Other Games)

Well I guess the result was the right one for our league position, not seen the game so cannot say who we should worry about.

Re: Gallagher Premiership Week 5 (Other Games)

Friday night in Manchester is a tough ask, Quins will do well to get anything out of that, Sale still missing Faff, but with Curry in the back row they will be tough to beat I think.

Good, shows we are doing well again, if we can get to the AI's undefeated, we will certainly have turned a corner.

Owolfela starts for the Dragons with Holmes on the other wing, Bateman at loosehead and Maksymiw at lock.
Aren't Holmes, Bateman and Maksymiw ex players and not out on loan?

Big game and a big side picked for it, confident having seen our squad, that is some bench.

Re: Weakened Saracens side

With all this talk of squad depth, which is commendable, and shows good recruitment missing in previous years are we not worried about a little pot, kettle, black here. Are we squeaky clean as far as the cap goes? I sometimes wonder. Some days it all seems too good to be true! That would be the sin...

It's nice to have good options to choose from instead of asking the fans if anyone has brought their boots.

Re: London Irish (A) Sat 9th Oct & Worcester (A) Sat 16th Oct

Both teams are playing well, we can't take them for granted, but I am happy that we now have strength in depth in pretty much all positions now, so the coaches can carry on, as they seem to be doing a better job than me at picking a winning side.

Re: Round 3 - Saracens (H) - Saturday 02nd October 2021

The look on Wrays face was worth watching on it's own, you can see what it means to this group of players by their efforts and celebrations, keep winning at home and we can go places, teams will already be aware that Welford Road is no place for the feint hearted again.

Re: Ben Kay

How many times have a team won right at the end by persevering, I remember a Mr Hipkiss skipping over the line at Twickenham to beat the very same club in a final some years back, we deserved to win that one as well. The team that scores the most points is the one that wins, that is without doubt th...
