Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021
You can add young Whitcombe to your list while you're at it, a beast of a young lad who will dominate the front row in time.

Re: PREMIERSHIP ROUND 11
I think anyone can beat anyone just now, but for an intercepted pass, we could have beaten Sale, to be honest it makes it more entertaining for the neutral.

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
If England keep 15 players on the pitch they will win, this is not a very good Wales side , but they will raise their game at home to England.

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
I'm amazed, Martin will be a great player, but this has a funny feel about it, he's hardly got the dust off his boots, good luck to him I hope he has a great game.

Re: Progress Under Borthwick
Borth's is clearly doing a good job, that is measured by the smiles on the players faces, they are enjoying playing in the side and the wins are helping with that. I don't expect to be at the top in one season, but looking at other results, no reason why this squad cannot make top 6 and get back in ...

I would not be surprised to see some rotation for this game away from home against the current leaders.

Re: 20th Feb 2021 - Home vs Wasps
Rugby never used to be an aerial game, there should be one foot on the ground in all open play situations except diving over the line to score. No diving into rucks it is just as bad.

Excellent result, pity about the red cards, but offset by a great effort.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back
Hopefully the NCA cup will begin in March, a round robin competition for Nat1 and Nat2 sides, some of the final year academy lads and some from the development side may well get a run out in that, Mosely, Leicester Lions, Hinckley and Loughboro Students are all due to play in the local group, this i...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back
With no "A" league or other "extra" tournaments, our squad players need match time, the younger players like Sam Lewis will gain from the Championship experience. He will be a future player that people will take note of, not seen such a talented player for some time in the forwards, the comparison w...

Re: Sort the tackle area out, please!
Might as well do away with the lineout if you aren't allowed to compete. The reason people dislike scrums these days is because they are no longer a competition anymore, might as well do away with those and just have 13 blokes running around to create more space............oh hang on, someone's don...

Re: Sort the tackle area out, please!
[ Seriously, an 18st player who can leg press 400+kg and rakes a prone player is not potentially dangerous? Imagine the TMO's adding more slo mo's to the game to decide whether that was a raking action or a stamp? was he given the chance to roll away?was he rolling away already? is he being pinned?...
