Re: Ticket For Sale Sharks Game Wanted

I'd also be interested if anyone has a single spare ticket going, ideally on the terrace but anywhere will do, as we've had a last minute addition to our group.

Cheers!

Re: Final Team - Flood on bench

My guess is that Flood will be on the bench and is only 80% fit, good enough to play if we're in need of some magic or Ford has a wobble (although I'm sure he won't!). If he wasn't match fit I would of thought Cockers would of announced Flood as starting, only to be a late withdrawal to keep Quins g...

Re: Billy's off...

Although I'm sad to see 12Trees go and would have loved him to stay, it seems this has all been blown out of proportion. Put simply if everyone is fit he wouldn't be in mine (or probably Cockerall's) starting line up: Flood, Allen & Manu. And whilst his versatily is a great asset for us, I'd rat...

Re: Next week will be an uncomfortable week for some

I'm fairly sure Cockers knows both were he and the team went wrong, and I think a few rollickings are definitely called for. Personally think away at Newcastle on a Friday night is the ideal next game. Tight and scrappy, will need good game management from the half backs and the forwards to be stree...

Re: Today's Game - Tigers v Leinster LIVE DISCUSSION HERE

I'm sure we've all read enough summaries of the game already but here's mine. Leinster desevered to win, they were better in the backs and had the reading of our line out. However it was still a game that rested on the bounce of the ball and a bit of luck (look at Sexton's conversion!). I honestly bel...

Re: Behaviour of Leinster 'Supporters'

Its a bit sad that because one Leinster fan swears we get a whole thread on it and blame their supporters in generally. And don't get me started on 'booing', I dont argee with it, but we all know what to expect at the big games (part time supporters/general public etc). I had a top night after the 2...

Re: Ben Cohen leaving Sale Sharks

All seems a little harsh on a guy who helped England win the world cup. Always been a fan to be honest, a big guy with impact, happy to come off his wing looking for work, as well as mucking in as an extra forward when necessary. Sure he'll find another club, maybe Worcester as already mentioned. Al...

Re: Fantasy Rugby

Just to let everyone know that we're currently up to about 40 teams in the league. If we could get as many as possible that would be great, it only takes about 5 mins to sign up and pick your squad. I'll make sure that everyone who signs up before 8pm on Friday is added to the league, so get selecti...

Re: 2010 / 11 Fixture List

Although a tough away start to the season the fixture lists seems pretty good for us. We seem to be facing some of the team who will be fighting for the top at home in the second part of the season, and also lower teams away, hopefully allowing us to build a good run after Christmas like previous ye...

Re: Lee Robinson

Aren't Agulla and Amorosino both wingers we would losing due to international call up being my point. Also if Murphy is called up Hamilton will shift to full back meaning we'll need more cover on the wing. Sorry if I didn't make this clear. Its only my opinion that either of the Arscott brothers wou...

Re: Lee Robinson

Think he's an ideal signing, as everyone is saying we don't really need another winger so why go to the expense of signing one of the Arscott brothers. Robinson sounds like a player we could really improve, who brings something different and at the same time be an active squad member if others start...

Re: Richard Cockerill hearing?

He's currently yet to be charged and todays Mercury reckons there is now not enough time for a hearing to happen before the final, so Cockers should be fine for Twickers, fingers crossed.
