Well. Never.

Well, well Kinoulton. I haven't posted on here since May and your usual sarcastic, ascerbic comments have just reminded me why I stopped. :smt019

Re: Has professionalism cost rugby 'a piece of it's soul'?

Its a sad day when rugby players adopt the kind of tactics we are now used to seeing from 'roundy ball' players. The over acting now commonly seen on the football field is worthy of an Oscar. In the same vein, the 'sledging' now heard at cricket matches is all symptomatic of the way sport is going. ...

Re: Irish v Leicester

I know most people have already said it all - but what a fantastic match. Really showed how dull and slow England's game was yesterday. Thought Mauger magnificent as Captain - led by example all the way. Dupey getting better and better and very versatile. Hamilton awsome. The Mauger, Tuilallgi, Smit...

Re: Time to be optimistic!

For anybody who read my post before editing I offer my humblest apologies and thanks to Rizzo for pointing out my awful error. It was a complete lack of knowledge on my part concerning Ben Kay. I would never be so offensive or hurtful - its just not in my nature. So once again I apologise to all tho...

Re: Time to be optimistic!

Much better today. Vesty awsome Hamilton amazing Mauger good captain Ben Kay - needs new/bigger gloves or some practice in the back yard Dupey great too Much quicker ball Better angles More cohesive More decisive Less kicking (although what there was, pens etc aside, was pretty awful). Great to have...

Totally agree - thought Sam Vesty was brilliant. Good all round player, took some really hard tackles. Could certainly give Toby Flood a run for his money in the number 10 shirt. :smt023

Re: Expansive Tigers

I thought we looked more confident today all round and played much less ariel ping pong. Thought Rabeni had a mare of a game though. Mauger good as Captain. Hamilton and Dupey great - much quicker ball today. Shame we lost because generally it felt better. :smt017

Totally agree - should start more often, but then a friend of mine pointed out - he has always played really well in the development games. I'm glad he got a chance to prove his worth today. :smt023

Bin Man pips Rod Stewart to Award

Sadly our very own "Rod Stewart" was beaten to the Sportsman of the Year Award at the Leicester Mercury Awards ceremony last night by the local bin man. Never mind Jordan - bet you still look better in your leopard skin leggings than he does. Better luck next year. :smt023

[quote="Kinoulton"] There is VERY little correlation between a person's abilities as a practicing sprotsmen and their abilities as a manager/coach. I am donning my tin hat even as I suggest this but.................. agree with Kinoulton on this and also I think AH is probably the most arr...

Re: Should M Williams have got a yellow card

I totally agree with Fatonerocks posting. It was clear the guy was unconscious almost before he hit the ground. You don't fall and lie with your arm bent backwards at 90 degrees if you are conscious. It could have been a much more serious injury and whilst I am shouting at the TV "Don't move hi...

Re: England Player Ratings

I don't know enough about the game yet to possibly rate each player individually. Its a bit of a steep learning curve for me. However, I thought a lot of England's game yesterday was reminiscent of Tigers play this season - every time they had the ball they kicked it straight into the hands of the o...
