Re: Team's up for the Scarlets match

Just been watching Cockerell post match. Honest as he was, The majority of todays squad can't possibly be in contention next week he virtually said they were rubbish!!! Although the performance was bad, I'm not sure the returning internationals coming back will be the magic wand he seems to think th...

Re: the table never lies

The thing that worries me, after just watching us getting stuffed (no other word for it I'm afraid) by a team full of welsh youngsters is the lack of defence we have been showing. For years it has been our defence on which all else was built, now it is seeming to be virtually non existent. This has ...

Ayerza - unsung hero!

All the talk on messageboards and in the papers focus on Sam Vesty's performances and the back row. Great though they have been surely the man who has done more than most for tigers this season is Marcus Ayerza? His scrummaging may not quite be up to that of Julian and Castro but his breakdown work ...

Re: Martin Corry Cited Part II

Triage, I wasn't referring to RFU law, I think this will go all the way to the high court should they initially find Cozza guilty on the 'balance of probability' British Law supposes that you are innocent until found guilty and, in order to find someone guilty it has to be 'beyond reasonable doubt' ...

Re: Martin Corry Cited Part II

I think this case is probably going to take a long while to resolve, as the legal ramifications could be massive. In a court of law in this country (where this may well end up as a test case) conviction on a 'balance of probability' would never be allowed and, maybe thanks to the Tincu case, the ERC...

I'd like to add my best wishes to Mr Meyer also. The man has shown great courage in dealing with a nightmare situation.
I sincerely hope his life takes some more positive turns soon.

Re: Martin Corry Cited

Smallclone, the very worst that you could find him guilty of, given the youtube 'evidence' is probbably a couple of short jabs. His actions upon rising suggest it was probably the old 'rugby payback' and little else.

Re: Martin Corry Cited

So that's alright then. Having just read the statement on the osprey's website it seems that it was a case of mistaken identity on saturday but Julian's still guilty of offences (without trial) at Welford Road. I consider myself to be a reasonably level headed bloke but this statement doesn't apolog...

Re: woe is me the end is nigh sack everyone

we don't seem to have any attacking idea, I think almost every game I've watched this season it has struck me that the opposition always seem to pose more of threat than we do. With regard to the breakdown, we don't seem to create enough breakdowns when the opposition have the ball and get too easil...

Re: Mr. Barnes

The 'pick and drive' at the end even prompted the other Mr Barnes to comment that it was not being refereed properly and that leicester always got 'pinged' for doing exactly what Stains were doing.Once the ball carrier has gone to ground all other players should stay on their feet surely? This was c...

Re: woe is me the end is nigh sack everyone

I think the main problem is that we can't quite put a finger on what exactly is wrong. I was talking with my mate after the game on saturday and we both said that if you had said before the game you can swap a saints player for his tigers counterpart, there are very few who we would have swapped. Ma...
