Re: Tactical Kicking
The ball also has to be in your possession at the other end and that will only happen if the opposition make a mistake and you have probably competed with the chase and forced it. Above average opposition and below average kick chase and the average advantage is not delivered on the pitch and that ...

Re: Tactical Kicking
A very good question. Wasps just lost and if Robson had got his box kick out with a line out in Quins half rather than run back it may have saved them the game. The back three are good positionally but it is probably result is someone running the statistics and finding on average it gets better adv...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
Good try with the fishing trip Dorkie...no one is biting to that... Guilty as charged but you wait, some won’t be able to resist wading in! You weren’t wrong... It's hard to resist when the angler baits with something far more tasty than anything they're likely to catch, throw their rod in after th...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
The 30s was when it last happened, so most of their fans have never enjoyed beating a "bigger fish" - probably why the England wins are so important to them. It was 1953 And this from the person who said (or at least implies) the last time England were in a RWC final was ancient history :...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
The year the Scottish media doesn’t drag out Jim Telfer is the year I will recognise that they have got over their England chip and I will possibly start to think things may be on the up for them. And just to put it into context my mother and grandparents were Scottish, so they’re my ‘second’ inter...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
I'm English so it doesn't matter a jot to me what a Scottish rugby fan's priority is, but for a majority to only care about the Calcutta Cup that's pretty unambitious and shallow. Does that reflect onto the national team itself? Arguably from the Wales game you could say yes, but we'll be forever b...

Re: World Cup Tickets
You have to wonder who comes up with the idea's of selling tickets.... World cup 2023 France tickets are being offered for sale next week , but talk about about confusing, you have to buy either a team pack or a city pack i.e tickets for all games in one city or tickets for all games for one team, ...

Re: Gloucester away Sat 13th March
Ref was excellent. Decisions accurate. Manner confident. Our forwards are dogging it out for us. Bit boring at times, but we have the characters to do the graft. No individual glory. Nothing fancy. Just consistent hard work. Hope is that when Nadolo, Ford and Youngs return we start to do a bit more...

So what questions would everybody else have asked? Or shouldn't players and coaches be interviewed after international matches?VernonAtrium wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 5:26 pm If my job was asking what amounts to verbal clickbait, I think I'd be crying on the way home every day.

And I OBVIOUSLY meant waste of time everyone having them, which is the plan, so don't twist my words! You've dropped the complete but you're still so incredibly wrong. Pfizer announced completion of phase 3 last November and published its results in December. Obviously development and testing is on...

Re: The Future
At some point, one hopes, supporters will be allowed back into grounds to watch rugby. Some travel companies have made it very clear that they will not accept customers who do not have proof of a recent negative test for corona virus, or a vaccine certificate or, ideally both. I for one would be ve...
