You're having a laugh with that first four.... :smt002 :smt002 I don't see why he is having a laugh. Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Does it actually say in the laws that you need to wait for the sin binned player to leave the field of play? The HIA incident is no different to when play carries on and a player is receiving treatment on the field. There's nothing illegal about it. It was schoolboy rugby from England not being rea...

Re: Have the French now turned up?

I have no idea. It was on Premier which is a channel I don’t have so couldn’t see the game. Did anyone on here get to watch it? I caught some of it on Freesports (channel 64?) last night and it's on again today at 5:30. Thought the French played with some vigour but a lot of their handling was drea...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

Surely the point about ‘elitism’ is that it doesn’t reward talent. 'Elitism' isn’t the system, it is actually a negative externality of a system that enables the sustainability of power structures through wealth, influence and position. I might be talented enough (which could also be considered luc...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

I am working to a different definition as in: Referring to the most powerful or rich within a particular group, place, or society. Rather than the most talented. i.e., we don't want a society that gives much better opportunity to the most powerful or rich. Clear? Do you disagree? Took you long enou...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

Whilst we are discussing rugby here there is a general issue as noted in the OP. We don't want an elitist society. It's unhealthy. elite noun 1. a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society You might be happy with your surgery carried out by som...

ah ok - yes it would seem that this is not getting looked into quickly enough !!! To say the least..........

I still live in hope that the other clubs are putting sufficient pressure on to get this done and out in the open....

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Problem is that the investment in business money appears not to be from Saracens accounts, it is personal investment by Nigel Wray so not subject to Premiership audit, it may be a bit of a fiddle but it is a clever fiddle not in the spirit of the cap agreement but probably not illegal. If one of ou...

Hands up everybody who thinks they know everything and thinks they could not benefit from 'mentoring' in certain areas. If your hand is up you are wrong and you are an idiot. Re: Image of the season

I think the Bateman (reserve 10) kick won previous season. Agree Smithy + mini a great choice for this last season. Having voted for the Smithy picture, I now find there is a prize of a signed copy. Whilst I haven't changed my mind, I think the Manu one would look better on display. Just voted agai...
