Re: Canada Embarrassing?

Pretty sure Itoje was born in london to African parents, so not the best example of a Pacific Islander... He was I was using surnames as a search criteria, but I think he has Nigerian heritage anyway Japan seem to have poached about half of their starting line up as adults from other countries. Pos...

Re: Typhoon on it’s way

Yet again you miss the point, they were prepared for typhoons just not one of never before magnitude. But then again why let the facts get in the way, and to answer your other point, it is always played at this time of year to fit in with the world rugby calendar Mark I think the Prem final was on ...

Re: Canada Embarrassing?

This isn't really about Spain or Romania at the start. It's more about Tonga, Samoa and Fiji who do possess the genuine potential to compete having their talent lured away by money by the more developed nations. Then maybe England aren't so strong on the pitch and Spain and Romania can get closer. ...

Re: Canada Embarrassing?

These teams will never get better without the money being included in this will given them to invest in the game If England and Ireland played Spain and Romania on a regular basis the tier one teams would insist on getting tier one money with crumbs left over for the opposition. There is more chanc...

Re: Canada Embarrassing?

expand the 6 nations to 10, have 2 5 team groups playing each other once top 2 teams play in a final, that will help the likes of Russia, Georgia etc. The occasional mismatch of England v Spain in a rare random draw is one thing but to promote it as a regular occurence would be dreadful. People com...

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers

Here we go. I’ve read the law properly now. Law 14.3 clearly explains why a player who is tap tackled, can play on. 14.3 Being held means that a tackler must continue holding the ball-carrier until the ball-carrier is on the ground. https://laws.worldrugby.org/?law=14&language=EN This is where the ...

I wonder if BFG stands for Bath's Favourite Grumpy and that is why he/she is working so hard to deny White a perfectly good try 😂😂

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers

While it might be deemed unsporting to ruin a good argument with facts, the laws do state clearly that a player must be brought to ground AND held in order for a tackle to have taken place. Thus, a player 'ankle tapped' or in any way otherwise brought to ground who is not ALSO being held, is not ta...

***. ABs less so, it's actually painful watching them eat Canada for breakfast.
I caught the beginning of the second half but gave up when NZ were scoring tries faster than they were taking conversions.

Re: Tigers Financial Loss

No surprises there then, Season ticket have fallen from about 15,500 to 11000, that’s hell of a drop. The product on the pitch has been second rate at the very best! The days are long gone when you would buy a season ticket to almost guarantee to make sure you got first dibs at any Finals tickets! ...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

I'm no doubt going to upset a few here and I make no apology for my opinion, but trying put any dispute over rules aside for a moment I think that helping employees is a good thing just as long as that help is given to all and not just a select expensive few. I do believe that many clubs assist wit...
