Now that Wiggy has gone upstairs and presumably JVP and BY might still be in England's sights, the scrum half cupboard is bare.
Only Harry Simmons is listed as a 9 in the senior squad, and Sam Edwards in the Academy. Any ideas on a replacement for Wiggy? We are in need quickly.

Re: Jonah Holmes
Scott1 says he doesn’t see what people see in Olowofela: I watched him home and away last year: his attitude was exemplary and after his season ending injury at Quins( was at The Stoop) he made a great effort to stop their final try resulting in dislocating his shoulder. At the last home game v Bat...

England U20s
In our current state, it is worrying to see that no Tigers have been selected for the England's U20 Six nations campaign. To put it into persepctive, Worcester have 6!

Statistics don't lie for once
Our recent form makes both horrific viewing and reading. Our last 7 games going back to the debacle at Thomond Park in December makes for a grizzly comparison between us and the rest. Played 7 Won 1. Points conceded 200 (average 28.6), points scored 59 (av. 8.43). Tries conceded 21 (av. 3), tries sc...

Re: Quarter finals for the ECC.
Indeed they have technologus, BUT they still have more chance of a home semi than the team that finishes 3rd, which has zero!

Re: England Squad - OTY Dropped !!!!!
Lest we forget, another hooker selected on 'form' by Eddie, Luke Cowan Dickie, hasn't played since November 15th, and only 4 times previous to that. He has totalled a measly 294 minutes on the pitch this season in prem and euro games.
Think Eddie will come knocking again soon...

Re: Quarter finals for the ECC.
The semi stuff is a little odd to say the least. We can only finish in the top 3, but we will have to be in the top 2 for a chance at a home country semi. If we finish 3rd (or even for the 4th placed side) there is no chance we or they get a 'home' semi. Those pesky Rules simply don't allow it. The ...

Re: England v Ireland Team
Anyone that is knocking Tom Youngs is not quite on the money. First his forward pass was mostly due to Jonny May over-running. If May had held the yard behind he should have been, then it wouldn't have been a problem. Tom's first throw that was fumbled was due to Parling having his arm knocked away ...

Re: Tigers v Saints
This is how it works: Tigers win (bonus point or not) and we will finish 3rd and play Bath away. If we draw without getting four tries and both Exeter and Sarries win, we finish 5th. If we draw without getting four tries and one of the above loses (most likely Exeter V Sale) then we finish 4th and p...

Great, great pity. The Prem's best 7 by a mile for a few seasons. Top geezer with plenty of new facial scars to prove what a Tiger he has been. Thank you, thank you.

Re: Shhh! Whisper it!
Sadly don't think that is true. It will be down to points difference between Sarries and Exeter as both will have same league points and wins. At the moment Exeter are only 3 points better off. So when Sarries wallop Welsh with a big difference it would mean Exeter would have to match them to go thr...

Re: Farrell must go..!!!
Please Noooooo!! Farrell is England's problem. He can't pass, has no pace and hasn't a creative bone in his body. Why on earth do they think he is going to be any better at Inside centre, arguably a position you need more creativity and a better pass than at FH. It beggars belief. If you need a kick...

Re: Paul Burke
While it is always sad to see someone so dedicated 'go' mid season, I do think our style of attacking backplay has been holding us back (presumably overseen by PB). When I watch other sides the space they create out in wider channels impresses me. It comes from a deeper backline set than we ever emp...

Head to Head, Tait on Tait
Very unusual to see two brothers opposing each other as Mathew and Alex will do on Sunday, let alone both at full back. Any clues on any other sibling rivalries? Perhaps the Du Plessis', Whitelocks, Hastings, Underwoods... but against each other and in the same position?

Re: Tigers v Treviso
Spoke briefly to Taity at Saints game, and he said (with a frustrated grimace) that he would be back in 2-3 weeks. Not sure if that was playing or training though!
Time to give Waldrom a go this week. Crane has been a ponderous disappointment IMHO.
