Re: England squad

Steward JVP and Chessum starting, Cole Youngs and Watson on the bench. Not a bad contribution :smt038

SB & Co have made some big calls in squad selection. It will be interesting to see who makes the 23. I sincerely hope Old King Cole gets a start even if it's off the bench. :smt023

On balance I like the look of the team and it's great to see Kelly back. Also a strong bench.

CMK has been getting better but I also fear for the influence of the TMO who, in the past, CMK has not always questioned.

Re: Tigers v Sale (H) - Saturday 08th October 2022 - 3-00pm

I'm hoping that last week was the 'poor performance of the season' all be it against a side which played very well indeed. Today's game will be a tough one but with hjome advantage I am expecting a win. Looking forward to seeing Manu and Nadolo coming head to head. Bring it on :smt027 :smt027 :smt027

Jacob Cusick also had an excellent game. We have some very good young prospects. I was particularly please with the way they stuck with the game plan and found a way to win. This is what the coaching team have been trying to instill into all squad and academy players since SB's arrival with clear su...

Re: Cameron Henderson - Recovery

Yes, a great insight into action behind the scenes and a recovery journey. SB does get criticism for not giving information on injuries but I am happy with his approach as such information is only of benefit to the opposition. Posting this video will hopefully remove some of the curiosity on what it...

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

It is laid in long strips which are then (if memory serves) 'stitched' to the substrate. I recall I found a video of the system on the suppliers web site when it was first installed. Out of interest there are two fire engines outside the hotel at the moment. Let's hope it doesn't burn down so early ...

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

50% of the new pitch has now been relaid. There doesn't seem to be a lot of time for bedding in before the first preseason game but I'm guessing with the pop up sprinklers giving lots of moisture coupled with the hot weather growth should be fairly quick. Re the plaza we seem to have removed the new...

Re: 2022/23 wish list

In the professional game you loose players and recruit new blood and to that end I think we are OK.

My wish for next season is that we push onward and upward which, based on this season's performance, seems to be a very real possibility. Can't wait for kickoff :smt026 :smt026 :smt026

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

Yes. The old surface was lifted a week or so ago. Glad we are still going with a hybrid pitch and not plastic. The hotel is looking good and I'm happy to see the Tigers linkage in both bits of the interior decor and the naming of the main bar/restaurant. I look forward to the additional revenues it ...
