Re: Tigers v Pau Saturday Nov 16th

From the perspective of those lucky enough to see the game, was it a good performance by Premiership standards? Would it have saved our despair vs Irish for instance? I was following along on Twitter but the Tigers social media team have a certain understandable enthusiasm for inflating the extreme...

Re: Tigers v Pau Saturday Nov 16th

As others have said it is too early to fully determine the level of improvement but we have seen improvement as demonstrated by this performance. If we had lost and lost badly then the writing may well have been on the wall for the current coaching team but I for one am happy to give it a little mor...

Cipriani, writing in today's Telegraphy Sport says he knows how to get around the cap. I must read it.

Re: Dylan Hartley Retires

A good player but it took him far too long to find a way of controlling his own actions and as such I was surprised that he remained as captain of club and country for as long as he did. I can only assume he had leadership qualities which did not always seem obvious to the outside observer. As someo...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

I am no Sarries fan however there are people’s livelihoods at stake. Not the players as such but the admin staff, ground staff and catering staff. They don’t deserve to be binned off. Isn't that akin to saying the man who robs your home should be allowed to go free because he has a family to suppor...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

There is no excuse for this. It was very clearly a scheme to make payments to player outside of the cap and even if they thought it was 'legal' it was a 'legal' way of avoiding the rules and therefore cheating. I have no sympathy for any of those involved. It akin to stealing in that you are deprivi...

Re: Boring Sarries, boring Exeter

Both teams are playing a good brand of rugby and I look forward to the final.

Let's hope that next season we find a way of competing at this level and find ourselves in a final or two :smt041

Re: Another building - Car Park

They need to get on with it. I am sure it was stated some time ago that construction of both the hotel and car park would commence this summer but clearly there is still a lot to settle before anything starts on site.

Well there's our team talk for next season ,and I will be reminding Lavinini of it personally :smt005 Yes, lol I hope our players see this and use it as ammunition, just as long as they can prevent themselves from laughing. Hopefully by next season we can come up with suitable sound effects to turn...

I can't believe that any contracted player would decline to play or even be asked the question.

We haven't seen a lot of him in recent times but a more reliable player would be hard to find.

I'm sure he will go on to have a great future in coaching. Well done that man. :smt041

Re: What went wrong at Debenhams and what it might mean for the Premiership

CVC don't have a controlling share so just have a seat at the table when it comes to decision making. Hence, the potential threat is small.
