Re: London Irish Away

Saturday wasn't fantastic but we can take a lot from the game, particularly in the performance in defence and at the breakdown. The scrum was also impressive. In addition to others I believe Steward deserves a mention as he had another good game and was solid under the high ball. I can't see many ch...

Re: Borthwick

Fast Eddy has only the highest regard for SB as a coach and whilst I loved Austin as a player and now in what he brings to his new media role he has never coached or managed a team and hence does not speak from experience. SB will rise or fall by results. He just needs to given a little time so we c...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

The frequent team changes at the end of last were not as a result of losses but far more the result of playing three games a week and the chance for SB to look at the squad he had available, particularly the young talent, and to experiment with various combinations. The fact that we could not be rel...

It is not unheard of for Rugby Pass to get it wrong.

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

I fancy us for a 'W'.

A good starting team and a very strong bench. Good to see Hill and Malins getting another chance along with Stuart who is a real prospect.

Saracens have an equal share holding in Premiership Rugby . So this may determine the outcome.
If it is down to the RFU to 'dish the dosh' they could do it directly to the clubs (12#). Only time will tell.

In all honesty , I don't think it is beyond the realms of possibility that Fiji will not take the field at all in this tournament...
I think it is almost nailed on.

I haven't seen anything stating which players have tested positive.

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

Sad to see that Fiji have had to pull out again due to covid. I was looking forward to seeing just how good they are in this type of competition, particularly against the likes of Italy and dare I say Scotland.

Ford is in the 25 for Saturday so it looks like he is fit enough to play either as a 'starter' or 'finisher'.

Re: Homework

When Steve Borthwick says the players have been working hard at home during lockdown, what does he mean? Is it physical fitness, practicing skills, learning the play book for line-out calls etc, studying personal videos, studying videos of Gloucester's game plan. Just how much can be done in isolat...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

Leave the captaincy as it is. It is a field position which is normally split in a 60/20 ratio or thereabouts so the on field captaincy is normally transferred for part of the game. Unless injured he will most likely be a 'starter' or 'finisher'.
