Re: Leicester City Council
Tigers submitted a Planning Application for the site back in 2008 which was for a mixed use scheme with Healthcare, Hotel and Student Accommodation, rising to about 12 or 13 storeys. The current sales document suggests that a building on excess of 20 metres at the northern corner of the site would r...

Re: Gopperth citing
I would have thought that Wasps & Gopperth would have taken the clues from the Assessment on page 4 of the judgement, accepted the decision and moved on. & I quote:- "Deliberately jumped.... no genuine attempt to play the ball..... could have pulled out ...... reckless as to injury .......

Your arguments are far too rational & balanced, remove them immediately!

He played well, but went off injured with what looked like quite a bad ankle/lower leg problem.Snorbins wrote:Isn't there an Andy Symonds who is playing for Tigers? He played against Scarlets in the 1st LV match? Thought he looked quite sharp and put in a few good tackles.
Has he been despatched to other areas?

Re: Tonight's horror show.
Without being unduly critical it was a poor performance last night. Defensively Northampton were much better and seemed to have a game plan as far as the attack was concerned. The running support lines from Northampton players put ours to shame, & perhaps shows a rugby league influence? Robinson...

Re: Stadium Redevelopment
It has long been stated that the next stage would be the construction of a multi-storey car-park on the land behind the Crumbie. I think this is a pre-requisite for further development and a potential money-spinner for Tigers so don't be too surprised to see it go ahead fairly soon. Could possibly ...

Stadium Redevelopment
I see that the next stage of the stadium redevelopment is out to tender.
Has anyone any knowledge of which section it is (Crumbie, Clubhouse End, or the Blanket & Cushion)?

Blowing the damned things in the Crumbie too, although thank heaven not that close to me, I just had to put up with some bloke in a Tigers shirt singing along with the lIrish trumpeter, now that was annoying.

Re: How disappointing at the end of the game!
Most away games I've been to, they have done just that. Sometimes quite later admittedly, but I have seen it done. Well this season I have been to the Northampton, Saffrecans, Leeds & Newcastle games & have not been lucky enough to witness anything but the team disappearing into the changin...

Re: How disappointing at the end of the game!
I wouldn't expect them to when we win next week either. Laps of honour are for thanking fans at away games or when you have a trophy. If Laps of Honour are for thanking their travelling fans at away games, why do we not see Tigers thanking fans at away games? It seems as if Tigers are the only team...
