May I just gently point out that this duplicates a thread about the shiny-bonced one wherein he is given all the respect that is due. Probably it's a reflection off the shiny pate. Do you think The Lol, when he shaves of a morning, sees a series of reflected The Lols in his forehead, getting ever sm...

I applauded him. I still think he's a horse's rear, but I did salute the end of a very successful career.

I shall return to normal service and wish every stinkiness on his bald head from here on in, though.

Brown was a shocking Chancellor - apart from selling off the gold reserves at a ridiculous undervalue, he completely knackered the nation's occupational pension schemes. And Blair - well, where do you start? I'll start with weaselling, shifty, twisting, spin-obsessed flip-flopper, to which I would n...

"Scratched eyeball"?

A side issue, this, but I was told Hipkiss's injury was a scratched eyeball. I seem to recall a Saracens player getting one of those, and a Tigers player getting a 14-week ban in return. What chances of the "independent citing officer" seeing enough for a Pests player to get similar, do yo...

I would be seriously down and miserable about being a Tigers fan if we gave Loffreda the push. It would say a lot of very bad things about the club which I would feel unable to gainsay. What I saw in that match was an abysmal defensive diaplsy against a hard, fast, tactically very savvy Wasps outfit...

If I recall correctly from reading Gerald Durrell books as a shaver, bushbabies widdle in their hands and then moisten their ears with it. Not that I'm suggesting you soothe your blisters with bushbaby widdle. Mind you, civet-crap coffee is fetching such high prices, maybe it's a thought. "Bush...

Maybe they mean that we are followers of the Cynic school of philosophy? The modern terms cynic and cynical derive from the Greek word kynikos , the adjective form of kyon , meaning dog. Diogenes (founder of the Cynic school) believed human beings live artificially and hypocritically and would do we...

I would like a bottle of Quilmes lager in honour of our illustrious head honcho. Nice and fizzy, too, so I can belch "Maaaaaarcelo! You da maaaaan".

Thoroughly decent man, fine coach, deserves our support 100% and has mine. Bear in mind that two finals is more than John Wells managed to lead us to, or indeed Pat Howard in his first season (or the one after that, come to that).
