Time for new faces
Ourla, RagingBull, Covric,The BoyDave over to you guys, I am out of here. The booing, the constant call for Cockers head, dismissing away the disruption due to injuries and every Tom Dick and Harry who has left being better than the players we have kept, getting on the back of young players like Bal...

Re: Team Vs London Irish
I think it is a bit optimistic that we will see Parling back for Glaws, in fact from what we are reading a little time out may be on the cards for him. I think we can all agree that something he is suffering is something which shouldn't be taken too likely.. There is some possibility although I rea...

Re: Tigers v Irish v The Ref?
+1 Garner has whistled us out of matches on several occasions now. However as Tigers, even with injuries we should still be able to put away the likes of Irish at home without worrying about refereeing decisions. The lack of backbone is the worst thing in this squad. You disrespect Irish. Last week...

Re: A Question To The Anti-Cockers Brigade
We've lost two matches in a row and only one of the front five could be considered first choice, have a scratch centre pairing, and continuity within the team that couldn't be worse due to the mounting injuries and (far fewer) recoveries. Anyone calling for any of the coaching staffs' heads at this...

Re: Booing the last kick.
No excuses and there was booing throughout the kick not just before or after the kick. I have been to games where people have booed and slow-handclapped the ref for a decision but then silence for the kicker. Totally unacceptable. Bad losers springs to mind. Its alright respecting the kickers when y...

Re: Team Vs London Irish
Just got back from the game and have to say first and foremost that, unlike last week, you couldn't fault the players effort today but having said that the execution was by and large poor. To me me the four crucial points were 1. When did Geraghty learn to kick like that? 2. How on earth did Mr Gar...

Re: Team Vs London Irish
You're commenting on a game you didn't watch? Ii thought lack of heart wasn't why we lost it was execution and maturity IMO. the forwards were a lot more aggressive today. The defence is starting to get shape (barring some missed tackles). It wasn't a performance to be embarrassed about nor excited...

I am not too sure about having a sticky one JG. I draw the line at a sticky toffee pudding.jgriffin wrote:my request to close the thread was sinply it was about a match that happened a week ago. We could have a sticky whine-fest thread instead, moderators?

Match day blues
I have been having nightmares. We lose to LI at home, Gloucester find form against us next week and by the time Welsh face us they are no longer a pushover and Weepu and Barclay have their best games of the season. It gets even worse in my nightmare, Tigerburnie goes over to the dark side and joins ...

Re: Today's game thread v Bath (Away)
I do not understand the impatience and pressure being placed on the young props at all and I think it shows a real lack of understanding of the game of rugby and the scrum in particular to make comments like the first comment. Whatever happens against London Irish just remember these lads in the fr...

Re: purdy
Why cant people move on, just like the players have. I suppose after tomorrow people will ask the same questions about Lewington and Skivs. Why did we ever let go of that huge bloke who braids his hair, plays on the wing and played against us for Newcastle in our first home game.

Re: Team Vs London Irish
Can I please start the post match whinge now? We won but the players played like they have not been together for long. Surely they are professionals and should be able to play like a team, what has Cockers been doing all week? Winning isnt good enough against a team like LI, no bonus point will come...
