Re: Mauger to get Carte blanche at Leicester.
Todd Blackadder is Crusaders coach, Mauger is one of his assistants, so far this season they are 1 from 3. When they were really successful Robbie Deans was head coach. The fans on this site are expecting too much with unproven signings, and an unproven coach, hope I'm wrong, never rated Mauger has ...

Re: Is Ferris trying to help England?
I see in this morning's Mail that the big man is crying because he claims someone bit his finger! Is this the same man who, according to Phil Matthews in the BBC commentary, likes hurting people? Did the biter have a gunshield in? I don't like biting and I don't players who set out to hurt people.

Re: Ben Youngs
Youngs and Flood were found out in the 6N game againt Ireland last year. Neither of them have looked as effective since. Eddie Jones said before the World Cup that the England half-backs were too hesitant and I think he was correct then and subsequent events have confirmed this. Youngs needs a rest ...

Re: Problems with Season Ticket Cards at the Lyon game
I had a problem (twice) at the end of last season with my card. I handed it in and got a new black one which worked ok for the Lyon game. But the main complaint I have about this is that the turnstile operator told me a would have to go the ticket office to get a paper ticket! Five mins. before k.o....

Turnstile Rejecting my season ticket
I wonder if anyone out there has had the same problem as me. For the last two home games my season ticket card has failed at the turnstile. They told me I would have to go to the ticket office to get it sorted! Five mins. to kick-off! No way! After complaining bitterly I was let in. I went to the ti...

Re: The reason 12T hasn't been in the side?
If my memory is correct Billy was called into the side at the very last moment, I think someone was hurt in the warm-up or on the morning of the game and 12t was on the bench. He played really well (MoM) but unfortunately did miss a kick. For whole of the second half we had Newby on at centre! That ...

Re: Positives
So it seems there is talk of Ben Youngs wanting away! I thought he was demanding to be first choice a few weeks ago and now he gets his way and still wants to go! Of course all of this could all be speculation. But if he wants to go, as someone said at the time, we should let him as its no good havi...

Re: Sixteen men on pitch
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought blood replacements were there to protect against contamination from blood-borne virsuses, I can't recall a blood replacement for an injured toe (covered by a sock and boot) ever before. I think Byrne should have gone off and stayed off, then this sad situation w...

Re: Fantastic man management from Cockers!
Third choice? I don't think that Flood or Vesty can kick as well as JS. Maybe he will be first choice by the end of the season! Without JS's contribution it would most probably be played two lost two! If he is not quite up to it maybe we should be looking at who recruited him!

Re: Mauger to stay at WR?
If I had some spare cash I would back the Australians to win the next world cup! As for South Africa, I have to agree that the South Africans are really good at cricket, I mean Kevin Pietersen, Jonathan Trott, Andrew Strauss just at the moment and a few years back Allan Lamb, Tony Greig, Basil D'Oli...

Re: Mauger to stay at WR?
No Vesty is not Australian! a Leicester Tiger for sure. The point I was making that seems to go over your heads is that Matt O'Connor was coaching Australia 'A' quite recently and some great players came out during that time, Giteau, Gregan, Mortlock, etc. (Remember Pat Howard? He was a pretty good ...

Re: Mauger to stay at WR?
I have mentioned this before, but I get moaned at from the Mauger fan club, but he was injured before he came here. Whenever I saw him in the All Black colours he always had a strapping on his thigh, (which was a result of a long-standing back problem) and was getting less and less game time for ABs...

Re: Mauger talks of departure
Could someone tell me how many competitive games Aaron has played and how much he has cost us? If he is selected to play for NZ will they be be refunding us for the amount of specialist care he has received while here? Remember he was injured before he came to Leicester! Missing the weather in NZ! M...

Re: How good was Austin Healey?
Great player no doubt about it, but I think he would have been better if he had stayed at scrum-half, I think he was better than Dawson. The 'I want to play No. 10' business and his spats with Bob Dwyer and Graham Henry never endeared him to me. However when Deano used to pull Andy Goode off late in...
