Re: Thank you Julian Salvi

The word is that he gave notice on his leased property at the start of this season so at that stage it was unlikely he intended to stay.

Re: Brian Moore

Whilst not condoning RC's approach to the 4th official a reasonable man may actually understand why he made his point forcefully when his captain and key playmaker appeared to be poleaxed by a foul challenge, for which a penalty was awarded, and there was no recourse to the tmo. Furthermore this &qu...

Re: Premiership Final - Which pubs in Harborough are showing

The Angel up near the top of the High Street should be showing it. It certainly shows all the Sky broadcast matches and is a "Tigers" pub.

Traffic accident after wasps game ALL POSTS MERGED HERE

On Welford Road after the game (at about 5.20 or so) there was a gentleman flat out on the road in front of a bus with medics working on him. Does anyone know how he is?

Re: Rugby Paper - Colin Boag

It's not just Boag. The reporter on the Tiger v Warriors game is no friend of Tigers. He reports on Castro's and Goode's yellow cards in very different ways. Castro's was an illegal tackle, Goode's was in the act of trying to prevent a try (if that was what Goode was doing then he was criminally lat...

Re: Empty seats at Oxford

We sat in the North Stand which was fair enough. Re: Ben Youngs - possible citing

what will be will be. what is particularly interesting is the number of replays showing the Ben Youngs incident. I don't think Sky showed the Clark assault again last Sunday and none of the commentators highlighted it.

High Profile Depatures

Today's Mercury tontains a paragraph suggesting that 4 "high-profile" players have asked to be released early from their contracts.

Any thoughts about who these might be?

Recording of Game

On returning from Cardiff I'm disappointed to find that my video recorder has let me down. Can anyone provide me with a tape or dvd of the match? I'll gladly reimburse all costs or donate to the Matt Hampson Trust.
