Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

I thought I read Yarde is thinking about quitting rugby, Got a link for where you read it? Might help put into context i.e. was it something said during his long injury layoff? Dark thoughts and all that. Or maybe just after he'd returned from injury and said something along the lines of "It was so...

Re: Tigers on TV today

Listed as the 2012 Prem Final.

Well, you didn't think Monye would pick a match that Quins lost, would you?

Re: Six Nations to go to Sky

https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/51909783 The government has rejected the chance to ensure the Six Nations remains only on free-to-air TV by turning down a call to include the tournament as a category A-listed sporting event. BBC and ITV currently share coverage under a deal that runs until 202...

The comeback, the try from Alesana, the break from Murphy, the drop goal from Goode. What a game!
Here’s to Nadalo scoring a few like Alex! :smt030

Re: season has ended below the prem

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/51974684 Does that mean Sarries avoid relegation? Wasn't there a clamour for an uneven number of teams in the Premiership by going up to 13 (ring fencing) which would give the clubs a free weekend or two in the season...so why not just do it by, relegating Sa...

Re: Favourite matches of all time

Not really a favourite match as such but seeing the Tom Varndell score earlier..... made me think of this cheeky little number

Didn't this score sneak us into the top 6 and top tier euro competition :smt017

Re: What are we going to talk about for the next two months?

Just to say, I’m not going to want a refund on any part of my season ticket or for Castres game. Tigers are a club worthy of my support through thick and thin. I love what they do for schools and others in the community for free and I’m proud to be able to support that through my membership. +1, be...

Re: What are we going to talk about for the next two months?

I'm a Liverpool fan and we don't even talk to each other any more, we just walk around shaking our heads at the sheer bad luck of it all. I sympathise but until mathematically certain...i.e. won, any 'title' awarded would have more 'taint' than a Sarries Prem/euro title... :smt002 or so everyone wo...

Re: 4 weeks for Manu 10 for Marler

Firstly, the hookers don't through into the line-out from the mark. They take a step to their own side so a "straight" throw goes down their side of the line but the ref doesn't blow for "not straight". This weekend there were several instances of the assistant ref spotting this and the hooker movi...
