Re: Autumn Nations Cup

Hear, hear. The last thing we need is more aimless kicking of the ball away which (IMHO) is Farrell's go to tactic. I think you’ll find that’s England’s go to tactic. If you listened as half time the pundits stated the clear tactic was not to play in their own half and kick the ball back to them an...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

Time for Itoje to take over as captain? Farrell is off form and keeping him as skipper prevents Jones from giving him a break to regain his form, although how he can do that playing a division down is difficult. If I were Eddie I would get him sent on loan to Tigers so he can play outside Ford more...

I know when my Club lost it's playing mo-jo
I feel I now know that it has also lost it's moral compass. Taking on Sarries cheats is no lesson for fans or players.

Might as well sign Callum Clarke now. :smt012

Re: Baa Baas game called off - Players charged by RFU

Nine from the team that thinks it is so special it is above the law and in those nine the rottenest apple in the barrel - Callum Clarke. :smt011

Another chicken coming home to roost for the RFU - they should have given him a life ban for his assault on Rob Hawkins.

Re: Baa Baas game called off

There is a canker at the heart of this we have seen before - a group of players and administrators who believe rules don't apply to them because they are "special". Even when they are caught they try to deny, obfuscate and spin their way out - it is called "the Sarecens way". For years now the media...

Re: European finals 2020

Anyone else uneasy about the role of broadcast commentary over third official decision making.

At the moment this looks like another final decided by Austin and/ or Ben Kay without them being the player to touch the ball down.

The desperation to find a reason to disallow that try was almost palpable.

This one has probably gone already but what the hell is going on with the officiating? Neither try should have stood. Ah well. The sooner this season is over the better.

Re: Sarries players cock-up again!

This is a club with a culture underpinned by the values of self interest and a belief that the rules only apply to others. In my own personal experience this also extends into their fan base. Only twice at welford Road have I ever experienced nastiness from away fans - once from a group of Glasgow f...

Anyone for dominoes?

"German insurance firm Allianz have confirmed they will end their sponsorship of Premiership champions Saracens at the end of the season in the wake of the salary cap scandal."

Oh well. At least Murphy has a "vision" so it's all going to be ok.
He can see light at the end of the tunnel sure enough - trouble is it's an incoming train.

There is now a grim inevitability to all this.
