Re: New Rugby Coronavirus Laws

We also need to look at the wider perspective.

Re: ANOTHER WAVE OF COVID 19?

I also rather suspect that the actual number of cases is way more than the published figures. I know of 20 or so people who have had an illness that presented with covid symptoms in the last couple of months. Only one of those was actually tested, so only she will appear as an official victim. Now,...

Re: Will games get cancelled?

This virus is here to stay, look at the distribution around the world, many estimates suggest true infection rate is 10 to 100-fold higher than "confirmed" cases. Long term we have to look towards immunity either by infection or vaccination, vaccine is 12 months away and you need to add on productio...

Re: Sarries vs Leicester - Teams Up

Whilst the defence was better in getting people into the correct positions on the field, we still miss too many tackles. According to the stats 36 missed tackles against Saracens, you just can't hope to stay in the game with those stats. The real weakness is out wide with wingers missing 10 tackles ...

Watching England v Ireland was like watching paint dry!
A win today but England aren't developing to win a World Cup with Ewels playing at No8 in my opinion!
He's a big fella but he is no Duane Vermeulen!
He is just a placeholder for Billy Vunipola.

England do need to identify a back up though.

Only one team wanted to play and win, it was not Tigers. Pitiful performance.

Re: Captaincy

Leicester Tigers hooker Tom Youngs is to appear before an independent disciplinary panel on Tuesday (February 18) after a citing from Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership win over Wasps. I suspect he may be absent for a match or two Admittedly quite far away in the Crumbie terraces I did not see the of...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Grim first half, seemed like the team did not have a plan to deal with the elements.

Second half the pack took the game by the scruff of the neck and dominated.

Often came off second best at the break down, perhaps should have started Raffell?

Re: Who is going to stop Exeter to the title.

Depends on how much their European campaign takes out of them. As Tigers have found in the past, battling on multiple fronts can drain resources.

Re: Scotland V England

Dire conditions, one of those cases where you don't want to be in possession in your own half.

Still a win is a win.

Still need a proper No8 though.

Re: SA to join a 7 nations set up

SA may well be exploring the idea but look there the report originated, the Daily Mail. :smt009 This paper, and I use the term loosely, has a reputation for 'making it up' on a bad news day in order to get a headline so I would take anything they say with a very large pinch of salt. Whilst in gener...
