Tigers v Sale (A) - Premiership - Friday 10th May 2024 - KO: 7:45pm

How about we move on from commiserating the Bristol loss and on to better and brighter things? Now that we don’t have to worry about the Premiership playoffs, can we give some of the younger players some valuable game time? 1. Cronin 2. Montoya (c) 3. Heyes (if fit; if not, Cole.) 4. Martin 5. Chess...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Sorry that Whitley took flack from the fans, he is young but the question is why did he come over to the Crumbie and argue, he should have stayed away over in the middle? Presumably he came over to thank the fans for attending the game, copped an earful, and responded, as emotions were no doubt hig...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

Dont want to get involved in politics , dont know a Tigers woman player's name , but do we spend money on them at the expense of quality men, under the guise of'diversity??' I’d have thought we only have 1 pot of money that everything has to come from. The idea of running a women’s team is a great ...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

As ever, many people are fixating on the last 10 (or even last 2) minutes. Today the last 10, or 2, are so standout they deserve the focus IMO. To compare to football, if a goalkeeper makes 5 fines saves and keeps a team in the game but drops a monumental clanger in the last minute and they lose 1-...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

As ever, many people are fixating on the last 10 (or even last 2) minutes. For me, the first 70 minutes contained some of the most cohesive periods of our entire season. In attack, we maintained field position and thus pressure until they had a player binned. We then capitalised on that period and f...

Freddie with another perfectly timed pass to OHC, maybe we should stick with this combination and keep the faith?

With an attack coach, Perese at 13, and Freddie at 15, the future looks bright! :smt038

I must say he is looking better at 12 than at 13. Maybe he needs to get his hands on the ball more often to get him into his groove?

Good interview with Mike Brown on RugbyPass: https://www.rugbypass.com/plus/rugbys-f ... ndividual/

He’s looking to play on past the end of his current contract and thinks that Tigers is a better fit for his personality!

Regarding Hodge, the last two games I’ve watched him play for Exeter and England A, I lost count of the number of times he decided not to pass to a teammate in a better position and instead go into contact on his own. :smt018

Just watched this video of the U20 tries and was really impressed by the involvements of Carnduff, I didn’t realise how impactful he was: https://youtu.be/0m_5AAoBn7s?si=vQ4EiF5uysu2BtgK

This is true, although are they showing any signs of slowing down?

On Kelly, he isn't Munster's favourite to replace Frisch. Tom Farrell is far more likely to be it. They don't have the budget and in reality IRFU are not going to buy him out of contract, if Kelly wants to play for Ireland they can wait a year and get him for free. If Kelly wants to further his int...

To me it seems like Marchant and Perese are similar players, both 13s?

With only 3 senior centres in the squad, it would be irresponsible to let Kelly go, even for a fee.
