We certainly need to bring in another TH as cover for the international periods.

Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad

Just watched this video of the U20 tries and was really impressed by the involvements of Carnduff, I didn’t realise how impactful he was: https://youtu.be/0m_5AAoBn7s?si=vQ4EiF5uysu2BtgK

This is true, although are they showing any signs of slowing down?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

On Kelly, he isn't Munster's favourite to replace Frisch. Tom Farrell is far more likely to be it. They don't have the budget and in reality IRFU are not going to buy him out of contract, if Kelly wants to play for Ireland they can wait a year and get him for free. If Kelly wants to further his int...

If it were to happen, then Marchant would not be a bad replacement...
To me it seems like Marchant and Perese are similar players, both 13s?

With only 3 senior centres in the squad, it would be irresponsible to let Kelly go, even for a fee.

Random thought. If Billy V is moving to Montpellier would it be worth a quiet chat with Sam Simmonds to see if he fancied an England return. Not everyone cup of tea I know but prolific try scorer and invariably gets over the game line I think I mentioned Simmons when billy was announced, as I thoug...

We won two European finals playing two fullbacks at 14&15. Think we need to stick to Steward and Shillcock together for the rest of the season and probably next. Steward chasing kicks could be a real weapon like Roebuck is for Sale. Hopefully next season Kelly finds his mojo with Perese and pos...

It would never happen, especially as he’s just signed a new contract at Exeter but I’d love to have Feyi-Waboso at Tigers.. he is the exact sort of winger we are missing.. perhaps we can pick up someone who is a similar sort of player but isn’t going to miss half the season away with International ...

Re: Leinster mind games begin? - Champions Cup (A) - Saturday 06th April 2024 - KO:8:00pm

One of the factors in selecting Cracknell at 7 might be to add some more ballast to the back 5, given that Wells and Hatherell isn’t the biggest second row? In DMK I trust. I wish more people would. This talk of replacing him after less than a season is plain daft imo. There is a failure to see tha...

Carnduff has played lock for u20s but will primarily be a 6. I would imagine we’re triennial to bare bones fit the back 5 but that selection gives more carrying and line out options Sorry. Perhaps a translation? So sorry about down to bare bones of fit players for the back 5 I think we must be, giv...
