I totally agree. The interviews are entertaining, and in my view a great addition to our communications.
Keep them coming!

Re: MOC GONE
It is certainly not just MoC's fault. The other coaches have to take responsibility.
However, I am concerned that it is evident some players are not fit, let alone match fit If you compare them to Exeter, well there is no comparison.
Geordan certainly has a difficult task ahead!

Re: Financial Health of the Premiership
Be interesting to see what Wasp's position is, once their figures are announced! Is their bond due for repayment next year?

Re: Exeter team
I think we should start with O'Connor if fit, Denton and Mapalangi. Chiefs will try to build from their speed and power at the breakdown. We can counter that by letting them have their ball once the ruck is formed, and not commit too many, as we won't turn it over. If I remember most games last seas...

Re: May in; Slater out!
May should be a really great signing, and does add pace, guile and strength to our backs. Ed is a real loss to the club, a great player and leader, but the time is right for him. I hope that his injury problems are behind him, and if they are there is no reason why he should not be pushing for an in...

Re: Racing 92 v Tigers Saturday 14th @ 20:45
Embarrassed by that, and dreadfully sorry for the travelling support. The board have left the blame squarely on RCs shoulders, wrongly in my view. I have said previously that the poison in this club lies with the CEO. We have been going backwards since he came, and if he has any decency, then he wil...

Re: Yesterday's game.
Whitecap, sorry I hadn't seen the post. Just finished watching the game again and picked up where JP played adv to Sarries for a knock on, and Paul Dix is clearly heard saying that the knock on was down to a red hand. JP ignored it completely, as one would expect!

Yesterday's game.
I hate to talk about rugby matters, but if you get the chance look at the 62nd/ 63rd minute, have a look at firstly the high tackles on Freddy Burns. Then, what follows is a high one from Farrell, who as he hits the ground proceeds to dig the heel of his hand into FB's head several times. I don't un...

Re: Departure of Cockerill
Once again the musings of a committee on the design of a HORSE has come with a CAMEL. Anyone at Welford Road yesterday could not have failed to notice that the part of the team that is Richard Cockerills' speciality out-gunned the leading premiership team, dominating them completely. The team lost ...

Re: Positive Posts only for The Great Cockerill
Of all my memories of Richard, the one that always makes me smile was in The Bell, Toddington. We had just been beaten by Bath and Steve Lander at Twickenham. We were all a bit down obviously, until the team arrived. We decided to say a little longer ne'er, as the atmosphere changed from a wake, to ...

Re: Departure of Cockerill
Smudge, I don't know, and perhaps we never will, know the full story. But I do question wether he has been supported by the board. The rumour mill, and I have heard it from different sources, has it that he was refused funding for cover in the backs for the long term injuries that we have.

How about Matt O'Connor? He has supporters on the board and only left to gain experience as a full DoR.

Re: Departure of Cockerill
The board, again, have got it wrong. The man who should fall on his sword is the CEO. He is the poison in our club, and is the reason why we have our hands tied behind our backs with regard to recruitment, and the loss of so many players who seem to have done well elsewhere! We were certain that som...

Re: Teams up v Saracens
With regard to Burns & Williams, I would swap them. I think Williams is a great reader of the game and I am certain that he would make a cracking full back. I believe that Burns is a natural flyhalf as he is a quick thinker, moves well off either leg, and is lightening over the first few paces. ...
