Even when it was Midland Mainline or Central Trains, I was always asked the options of vouchers, cash refund or card refund.
I really haven't had a problem.

Re: Saturday evening trains
No you can ask for cash, or refund on your card if you paid on debit/credit card.
They're quite good like that. I've yet to have a problem.

Re: Johnno biased towards Leicester! Really?
Perhaps if some of the players who've been injured, had been fit and in form. There could be a complaint, but as we have hardly played an Englishman in the backs on a regular basis this year (I know Youngs as been there most of the season, but other places?), the only place we could pick from would ...

Re: Saturday evening trains
In fairness, last Saturday evening was due to a train losing its wheels near Market Harborough, and derailing as a result of it. A major accident like that has to be fully investigated by law, and the vehicle cannot be moved until has been sorted and all information taken. Still took me a long time ...

Re: Curmudgeoness Abounds. Christmas Edition.
The dead (or intermittant at best) turnstile at the Cat stand was only part of the problem when we got in. If I ever hear a middle to old aged person have a go at the "kids of today" after witnessing how the older generation kept pushing in at the queue, I'll probably scream. The young one...

Re: An IDIOT of a steward
Having thought that this had been pulled (after Tigerbeat had quite rightly pulled me up on the original post, and has kindly modified it). Any steward on duty has the right to be treated with the same sort of courtersey and respect, that that you and I would expect. That does not mean that they can...

An IDIOT of a steward
The steward who decided that him leaning against a bannister, rather than my eldest, who has Cerebal Palsy, could use it, and decided that it was beyond his remit to move, with a tut and contempt wants a severe reprimand Cheers, thanks for the help, not!!! A person who has problem walking, uses bann...

Hi Kinny, No, not used. It's filmed one day in advance and the contestant sets you up with what to say.........let the phone ring three times then just say, 'Hello'. I wasn't phoned but the pressure is immense. It caused me more stress than a firearms job or riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

That is quite harsh though, for what was an ignorant (ignorant in the nicest term you can have) mistake.

Psuedo-ephradines, have caught a lot of people out over the years. More recently, the Sheff. UTD keeper, Paddy Kelley who has had a 9 month ban for taking a cough remedy, and a few years back, there was a Scots man (whos name I can't remember) who won a Silver in the Olympic downhill ski event, but ...

Re: They cannot be serious? Players asked to expose cheating!
Is that for any confidential session, or just purely Rugby related ?Bill W wrote:To do this they need to just ring the RFU on 0208 892 2000 and ask for the CEO's office to arrange the confidential sessions.
This is something that needs to be clarified, it could be number left in a phone box.
