Embarrassing

Just read on sky sports news even Mauger admits last night was embarrassing, How our beloved club has fallen to the wayside over the past few years is beyond comprehension, imho it's time the board ceased trying to "improve" the stadium & have a good look at themselves & the team, ...

Re: Sale Recommendations

J A ,personally i don't know about booking a place on the coach I let the Mancs sort that out but it may well pay to give them a call to find out, as said previously good pub and crowd.

Re: Wayne Barnes is so biased against Tigers

Does not matter who the ref is consistency is the word, agree with a lot of the comments re penalties etc but the ref should be consistent on what he penalizes regardless of the team, besides the penalty count we missed too many tackles so in reality we only have ourselves to blame for the loss. Sorry

Re: Boris Red card

The incident Sapjo mentioned (penalising Tigers for mauling over a player who tried to pull down a maul) happened right in front of me and I could not believe it either very bad reffing in my opinion, in fact I think Garvey was extremely lucky to still be on the pitch as he was the main instigator o...

Re: Treviso

Purchased our tickets on Saturday from Tigers, one word of warning though make sure you wear something nice and warm, last year against Aironi it was a lovely day but as soon as the sun went down the temperature dropped rapidly. Never been to Trevisio before any good bars recommended for Friday/Satu...

Re: Horacio Agulla - Where's he going?

I talked to him after the saffa's game and said I had heard a rumour he was going to Saints, the look on his face said it all then he replied " no no never I'm not going there" . I hope it is true he can do a lot better than that.

Re: Pubs in town with ESPN and decent beer?

If I want to go to a pub to watch any rugby I usually go to O'Neils, Loseby Lane in the town, don't know about the bitter but a good pint of the black stuff, the foods not bad for pub grub and thermosphere is usually good.

Re: Championship fiasco

I agree a smaller stadium filled to capacity with the option to expand is far better than a larger capacity ground partially full, can you not recall going to Murrayfield to play Edinburgh when only part of the lower west stand was open (approx 8k there if i remember correctly) as a supporter it was...

Re: Agulla - is anyone at WR listening?

Are we sure that David Flatman wrote this, it's quite a good article especially for one of the fat boy brigade. I TEND TO AGREE WITH IT, very true, not flashy just a good hard working professional, he would certainly be one of the first names on my team sheet. Grown into a true TIGER and he's shown ...

Re: The service at the bars at Welford Road?

The service is and has been diabolical for a few years now, the staff are useless or worse, the waiting time to get served is ridiculous, the staff do not respect the paying public and in my opinion resent having to actually serve us which they re paid to do, the tills are automatic and they still c...

Re: Heineken Cup Final tickets avaialble?

In reply to the Leinster fans requests, if you look at www.guardian.co.uk/sport/rugby-union there is a link to tickets for sale, I've looked myself, pricey but if you want to go worth a look.

Re: Ben Youngs - possible citing

Lets get this in to perspective, Ben for reasons known only to himself broke the rules IF HE GETS CITED so be it, people on this forum were baying for blood last week re the Clark incident ( including myself ). If you play a contact sport there will be contact legally or not, if it's illegal the pow...

Re: 11th out of 12.

We are not playing well but still only lost one Premiership game outside of the international window. Players are not performing but I'm quietly confident that after the 6N's we are going to at last get a bit of continuity with selection and things are going to pick up. I want some of what ever you...

Re: What was that then? A message from Exeter.

Who knows? Following orders?? Not good enough. Nowhere near good enough. Embarrassing rubbish from players who generally did not seem to want to be there. Recently after a particularly bad game I happened to have a few words with one of our senior squad ( he was trying to slip out quite possibly em...

Re: Exeter away on Feb 11th

Crumbie Dweller, I am working in Bristol so I do not need transport but if you have prior booked the accommodation and are struggling to fill it, I would quite like to stay at the same place as a few other Tigers fans.
Cheers.
