Re: Borthwick

I know the rumours that GM would move to DoR, but it does feel that there will so many 'coaches' in the club. M Ford, B Deacon, M Bakewell, P Blake, B Stankovich, S Borthwick. Add on to that fitness, performance analysts for the senior squad. Are they all employed full-time? I just wonder if Borthw...

Re: Borthwick

An official review of the 2019 tournament will finish tomorrow or on Friday. At that point, Jones will establish a new-look back-room team. Defence coach John Mitchell, also with the Barbarians this week, is expected to remain as one of Jones’s chief lieutenants but scrum coach Neal Hatley has join...

Re: Heyneke Meyer

Rumours starting to circulate that Heyneke Meyer has been sacked by Stade Francais, according to reports in France. No doubt there will be speculation of a Meyer/Borthwick 'dream team' at Tigers..... Strawclearer can I politely ask you to stop sprouting stuff like this. You never know, someone at t...

Rugby paper saying Genge has snubbed a offer from Bristol and is close to signing a 3 year contract with Tigers
Offer from Bristol? But they aren't allowed to talk to him prior to January.

Re: Tigers v Pau Saturday Nov 16th

For me Lavanini needs to play in these two games to get to grips with the English language, no better place to learn to be fair. Claire and Kerr should be the hookers for these games, unless we are giving up on Kerr? I'd like Coughlan to be given some game time in the back row, and if he's fit Taute...

Re: Expectations for this year

Borthwick saga to carry on until after Six Nations when he signs a new contract with England. A coach, probably Bakewell, to be sacked after Europe fixtures, prior to Saints game, and replaced officially by Deacon. Senior players to sign for other clubs at end of contracts. Relegation to be confirme...

Re: London Irish vs Tigers

I don't get why we should 'forget europe'? We're currently in losing mindset so that needs sorting, regardless of the competition we have to start winning REGULARLY and not just sporadically! Mark McCall has reportedly said that if their points reduction stand then they will prioritise the Premiers...

I may be impatient but with the England group back in country you'd have thought there'd be an announcement by now.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

You have to feel for Jake Kerr. Felt he played well, so to drop out of the 23 entirely is incredibly unfair. Do not understand why we are persisting with Reid at 10 who is showing he is not comfortable at 10, so play him at 12 and give Hardwick an actual chance. Also, I don't understand why Liebenbe...

Re: Borthwick

It all depends on what the RFU want out of Borthwick to Tigers. For me it seems like a dress rehersal for the England job, in which he'll be in straight shoot out with Gustard. In that eventuallity, they'll surely want him to start ASAP to get as much experience as possible before Eddie leaves in 20...

Either something is done soon, or we are facing a relegation battle. And I'm not convinced theres a worse te...

Yes.

But you would hope we can take him back whenever we want.
Dual registration, but playing mostly at fullback for them.
