Re: 12T or not 12T - the nation holds its breath....

Our midfield combo against Ireland should absolutely be Twelvetrees/Tuilagi. No questions.

Re: Retirement.

All the best, Mr Woods.

Leaves us very thin in the 7 department if Salvi gets injured in the next couple of matches!

Love the Underwoods, but Alesana is the daddy.

Return of the (Samoan) King?

A short piece on ESPNScrum's Rumour Mill reads as thus: "The Rugby Paper reports that Leicester Tigers are contemplating whether to try and tempt Alesana Tuilagi back to the club after Japan's season comes to an end. Tuilagi left Welford Road last summer and the Tigers have brought in a variety...

Re: Another new signing?

Having said that, now Deacon Snr. is out of action we could use some experienced cover at lock. Slater's out too, so that only leaves us with Mafi and Rob Andrew behind Parling and Kitchener.

This strip is for the Heineken Cup, not the league.
Ah, a crying shame. We're all the poorer for it.

Is he the one with the hilarious kicking action? Wide base, patting the floor down, 4 minutes off the clock.

Re: TTTE called into match day 22

The dropped high ball aside, Waldrom had a brilliant half. Has to start next week with Haskell on the bench. No places for Morgan or Dowson for the last test.

Fingers crossed!

Re: Matthew Tait and his injury

I can't believe what I'm reading on here. Mathew Tait and his injury, where will he fit in etc, etc. I dont like to mention facts but: 1.this guy played full back in a RWC final. He scored a try and on the day he was the outstanding English player on the pitch. 2. By common common consensus he is t...

Re: Matthew Tait and his injury

I think that the midfield picks itself next year: Youngs, Flood, Allen, Tuilagi. What O'Connor and Cockers do with the back three is anyone's guess. Hamilton back into contention? Murphy to retain 15 for the entire season? Morris to get another shot? Where do the three newbies fit in? I'd like to se...

Re: Team for The Final?

I'd expect exactly the same side which beat Sarries. Maybe Salvi in for Newbs, who'd drop to the bench, but I can't see Floody making it.
