Anyone else notice that Matt Smith was carrying water instead of being in coaching box.
Didn't see Deacon yesterday, although I was watching on TV.
Deacon was there and seen at the presentation to the retiring Dr Martyn Newey after 20 years.

Thanks for 20 Years service - Dr Martyn Newey

We are quick to thank the players for their time but the backroom play a big part in getting the Teams on the field. Martyn has been the Team Doctor at Tigers for 20 years and has looked after a large number of the Tigers players. Thank you for your service and wishing you a long and happy retiremen...

Terrible scenes at the Euros 🥲🙏
Hope that Eriksen pulls through after collapsing.
Thoughts are with him.
It puts sport into a great perspective.

Re: THE BIG ONE - Wasps (A) - 12th June 2021

Given that both sides are likely to finish top eight, barring a surprising result by Newcastle, todays game could be a very open game and high scoring with all shackles removed.

Tigers to be safe, and (what am I about to say?!) come on you Saints! :smt005 (*Assuming I have done my maths right, if Tigers, Bath and Newcastle all finish on 49 then it’s unlikely they will BOTH have enough of a points difference to overtake us? I hope! It may be that all on 49 and our better po...

If Tom Youngs has stepped out of line with the referee and been prejudicial to the ideals of rugby, then surely Pat Lam, who blatantly lied to the referee is equally guilty.
You cannot use foul language towards the officials. Emotions were high and things said in the heat of the moment.

Re: BRISTOL (H) - 5th June 2021 (NO CITINGS)

https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/squad-update-210611 There is a citing regarding Tom Youngs’ comments to Tempest. Personally I think Lam’s comments to Tempest about him being responsible for Afoa getting injured should result in a charge too. I believe that there was some unacceptable language ...

Jeremy Staunton?.. :smt005
He did a pretty good job in his time at Tigers when needed.

On a more positive note, does the immediate departure of Henry mean that Ford is fit for the weekend. Surely we would not be releasing fly half cover for an important match if we did not have our 2 first choice options fit.
We have McPhillips and Bonilla available if Ford is not fit.

Barnes won’t be reffing v Wasps. He’s doing Ealing v Sarries.
Edit - unless he does us Saturday then Ealing Sunday?
Barnes wont be reffing both days……only one.

Re: Yellow Cards At The Scrum

Wayne Barnes was also on the Channel 5 team, I wonder what he thought of what unfolded in the last ten minutes of the game. If he was reffing, he would have given Lam his marching orders after “it’s your fault if he gets injured remark” in my opinion. Have a watch back on the Channel 5 App and catc...
