Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

With COVID cases on the increase and the sight of fans not observing social distancing or wearing masks there is a risk that the game may not go ahead..........similar circumstances to the Castres game. I hope not but it is a genuine possibility.

Re: Like/Dislike buttons ?

More likely to see porcine aviators :smt012 When the "new" style forum was introduced a few years ago, we were asked for feedback, if which there was a fair amount. One item on many people's wishlist was like/dislike buttons. After a year, when nothing had happened, I raised the matter again and wa...

Re: Romain Poite

I was under the impression that all players and officials had their temperature taken when they arrived at the ground and were subject to regular testing. You'd certainly hope that the ref had undergone all of that and doesn't have Covid. He could just have a cold or allergies. Don't forget that it...

Re: A question.

By dropping the testing the playing of matches would not be able to take place and sports clubs would make further losses and may not survive.

Re: Team vs Saints

The issue is that they cannot register a replacement, not that they do not have a player to play loosehead.

Re: Team vs Saints

There is no issues at the moment as they able to field a full front row.....if the loosehead does get injured it will mean uncontested scrums and Saints down to 14 players.

Re: Team vs Saints

The Mail reporting this morning that Stains may have to play against Exeter with 14 men! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/54154899 There is a prospect of having to play with 14 players as they currently only have one registered player available that can play Loosehead. Current rules do not a...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

Second half, Wasps have played far better and have executed their moves with accuracy and pace.....a well drilled side. Credit must go to a good Wasps side and their position in the table is evident. Tigerbeat, I am 99% of time positive, but at no stage in that game did we ever look like holding th...

Re: New ban on assembly.

The main issue is that the groups are not being organised in a controlled environment. Workplaces, pubs, restaurants have all had to put COVID Safety Measures in place in order to operate. Cricketers / Footballers / Rugby players have been living in Bio-Bubbles or having regular testing.

Do we really want to beat Castres?
Would have to be a yes as it is chance of Silverware and carries a place for the European Champions Cup. It will also be a good test of a full first team.

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20

What are people’s opinions on Wallace’s injury, should Curry have been cited? Not really sure how he could be, given he was the ball carrier. If anyone should be cited it would be Wallace, although this would be harsh in my opinion. It always amazes me why when there is a clash of heads like that t...
