Behind try line coaching

We were at the game last night and I just fast forwarded through the BT coverage - for our second try at around 15 minutes where we had forwards driving for the line, I spotted one of the Exeter coach’s (water boys!) directly behind the play clearly marshalling the defence - can’t remember seeing th...

Re: Danny Cipriani - Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

As Manu got a ban for his run in with the law, (from memory by the RFU?) I guess he should also get a ban of similar length for this although I've heard nothing about an RFU investigation or hearing?

Re: Have we just fallen foul of the worst tmo ever made?

Just to add it may also be the most costly bad decision ever as well - not only wont we make top 4 but may miss out on top 6 depending on the other results- whereas a win would have kept us in contention and having top 4 in our own hands. Don’t know the total cost of that but missing out on Champion...

Re: Have we just fallen foul of the worst tmo ever made?

In my opinion it wasn’t just the final moment that the ref got wrong and cost us the game - in the final couple of minutes of the first half he pinged I think O’Connor for off his feet (he said he was on his knees) when the replay (and his reaction) showed he clearly wasn’t and those 3 points were t...

So .... rest of the season

Ok so no real surprise that we are out of the only real chance of silver ware this season, it’s now back to the Premiership. All of the senior players that we have left who are not on international duty have been rested so no excuses for any lethargic games but my major concern is that we haven’t us...

Re: Castres vs Tigers

This is embarrassing

Can’t tackle
Can’t catch
Can’t line out
Can’t scrum
Can’t attack
Can’t defend
Can’t make line breaks

Season ticket renewals - or not?

There have been many recent posts around the team, management and style of play, but am I alone in being really torn as to whether to renew my long held season tickets (yes we are on the wall in the Final Whistle area) for next season based not just solely on the above but also, if not more, based o...

Use of TV referrals

When the use of the TV officials started I thought it was a good idea for the critical decisions in the games. But the at the game yesterday (Sale), was I the only one who got frustrated with the number of times the official used this and the length of time it took to reach the decision? I’m guessin...

Trendylfj - your comment about Bet365 - what is the quality of the streaming like and can you stream it directly to the TV or connect it to the TV via laptop?

Fans Forum this week

I've just read the Tigers view of the fans forum this week but I'd be interested to hear what the fans who went there to represent the rest of us thought of the meeting and its proposals for next season?

Didn't know that but it still raises questions and perhaps some conspiracy theories around how/why this happened

Re: Ben Youngs withdraws from Lions squad

How could they both have played today knowing this and this does put this years rugby into perspective? I was lucky enough to sit at a table with Tom at the POY Awards night a few years ago the year he was getting married - no words can be of comfort in these circumstances but I'm sure all our thoug...

Did the timings of today's matches affect the semifinals?

Exeter won today with a 5 pointer, some 15 minutes before the end of the Wasps v Sarries game. At that time Wasps needed 2 more tries to end up top and without them scoring these then Sarries would have come back to play Wasps in the semifinals. Obviously both teams would have been aware of the Exet...
