Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

I’d suspect one of Cracknell or Rogerson could be retained. Not sure on Carter. I’d be inclined to let him go and give those minutes to L Chessum, but with us now having 3x international second rows it probably does leave us more stretched. As for prop, with Cronin signing up to stay, I suspect it’l...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

On the assumption we have to look at two LH’s with Cronin and FVW off, the link to Elhoff is an interesting one, plus a proven prem performer like West or WGC would be a tidy bit of recruitment given Elhoff can apparently play both sides. Not saying he's going, but wouldn't shock me
Fair comment.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

I think De Bruin is better at TH than LH, but that said he’s still a formidable LH. I’d be more than happy to see him back, he was a tidy addition during his first spell.
Is the belief Gallo being talked about is in lieu of Fisichetti? How long does Richardson have left on his deal?

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

I went. Gregory Kacala, Polish born French back row, came from Rugby league.
That was one of my first big rugby matches.
Amazing the atmosphere before hand.

Or maybe Roos has seen how Jasper’s career took off with us and thinks it’s a path worth following…???

Maybe it’s also freeing up cap space to do something else?

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

Does show the depth, when you look at the next tier after the two mentioned above

1. FVW, 2. Clare, 3. Hurd, 4. Carter, 5. L Chessum, 6. Carnduff, 7. J Manz, 8. Cracknell, 9. Whitely, 10. Wilkinson, 11. Browning, 12. Woodward, 13. Cockanasiga, 14. Cusick, 15. Brown

Isn’t Joseph going back to the Highlanders? https://www.planetrugby.com/news/real-coup-for-highlanders-as-japan-coach-jamie-joseph-set-to-return-after-world-cup Been saying for years, Jamie Joseph and Tony Brown would be on my list every time we needed to look for a head coach. Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

We’re not in a weak position.
If we have cap set aside and Watson decides to move on, then we have mid season budget available for either a World Cup bolter, or dare I say it, to capitalise should another club do a Worcester/Wasps/Irish.
