He was at Kingsholm last week as a waterboyJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 5:10 pm given JVP was supposed to be close to a return the silence on him has become annoying, he's probably not with Tigers atm so wouldn't expect McKeller to say anything

He might well be the exception... i would be tempted to start Ilione and have Tommy on the bench.
Last night proved we need specialist open sides in my view.

I thought that too; but not in any small part down to how tigers managed him. There were some big double hits on him especially in the first half.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 11:44 pm My view on Mercer…..aside from one break he was average. Dropped balls, decision making awful.

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm
Dismal Game, two dismal sides, one very dismal ref. The first 15 minutes of the second half killed us. There didn't seem to be much leadership on the field to get heads back into the right places and it all fell apart. I don't know what happened to our scrum in the second half but speaking to Joe He...

I think that is a good looking team. I am glad Ilione is in the squad.

Bath put nine tries past Gloucester on Friday in their 'Friendly'. Hopefully we can do a similar job this week :smt001 Gloucester only played a second/third string side then. I can't find a team sheet for it... but the article on their website does say a 'young side'. The bath squad had 29 players ...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Furbank has performed well at 10 for Saints, so have him on the bench covering 10 and 15, start with Smith at 10 and Steward at 15 I've got a better idea. Smith at 10, Furbank at 15 and Freddie playing for Tigers. Selfish I know but since SB left and took the core of the coaching team with him I ha...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
So trying to get back to a bigger picture. England seem to consistantly kick away a penalty advantage in the red zone rather than go for the try. I would say i seem to observe the opposite from teams like SA, NZ, Ireland and France during the world cup. Ireland demonstrated that yesterday at times....
