Re: Cockers is not going to be bringing in another TH.
I suspect Cockers maybe seeing this period without Cole as a dry run for the world cup next year. See if the youngsters are up to the task, while still having Logo around, then he can make a more informed decision ahead of Ayerza, Cole and Logo missing the start of 2015/16 due to the world cup.

Re: Owen Williams or Freddie Burns
Owen Williams was the toast of BBC Radio Wales this morning. They were talking about the Welsh 10 shirt and when they started talking about a superstar performance at the weekend I assumed they were talking about Henson after his MotM for Bath. After 30secs I realised they were talking about Owen - ...

Martin Crowson just tweeted 9 match ban to continue but to include pre-season friendlies https://mobile.twitter.com/martin_crowson To include 2 of the 3 pre-season friendlies......Ulster & Jersey, doesn't include the Montpellier friendly because, apparently, the RFU didn't think that was the ri...

Re: Can you recall your 1st game at Tigers? Mine was 20 Nov 1993
Not the first game that I went to (apparently I used to roam on the slope where the goldsmiths stand is now) but the first game I remember going to was on April 15th 1995. Tiger beat Bath 31-21 to win the Courage League, seem to remember Dan Lyle throwing an American football style crossfield pass (...

Re: England Squad for Argentina
Think Goode would be another backup to Burns along with 12T. He does tend to play as an additional 10 in attack rather than attacking from deep as a 'traditional' 15 would. Given that Brown (admittedly played as a winger by Lancaster so far), Foden and May are also going on the tour taking Goode as...

Re: Wasps game
End of the first half we were pinged after the Assistant Ref in front of the CAT stuck his oar in. Not entirely sure what the penalty was for as I didn't see JP Doyle indicate anything, but Wasps got the penalty. It may have been for Flood retaliating to something/someone, didn't see it as play had...

Heineken Cup Final Victory in 2001 although some would argue that the successfull defence of the trophy a year later was a prouder moment. Guess thats all down to personal preference.MJ Chairman wrote:Which was?Iain wrote:Commentator for Tigers' proudest moment too

Re: Tigers v Toulouse
I believe that Toulon are beatable. Montpellier made them look ordinary. :smt031 Wasn't it a dead rubber for Toulon....but their near-ish neighbours and fellow countrymen were able to sneak in, probably at the expense of one of the Irish provinces? :smt002 :smt002 Toulon may have already been guare...

Re: Jumping On The Try Scorer
And after the conversion a penalty from the half way line. As per our game against Worcester, although the first time I've actually seen it in a Premiership game. Last time I can remember before this one (and it wasn't a premiership game) was in our 32-32 draw with Opspreys when Billy 12T made his ...
