Re: Bill W RIP
Very sad news. Bill will certainly be missed on the forum and no doubt to those who knew and loved him. I remember back in the early days when he congratulated me on the forum after I'd announced our son's arrival.

Re: Rescheduled Prem matches
Thanks Tigers & TV (BT this time) That now makes 3 out of 3 big birthday celebrations that have been completely messed up on account of the selections made by the television companies... The game around my 40th was moved to the Sunday, which led to rapid re-organisation of a group of friends. Ha...

Tickets for Sale Match
I've just listed two tickets in the GNC Stand (CU) on StubHub if anybody is interested. They may be listed as separate, but they are next but one to each other, with our son's (7yo) seat between. I believe the club will be releasing his seat for sale, so if anybody wants 3 together, buy the two Row ...

[quote="tigerben] To include 2 of the 3 pre-season friendlies......Ulster & Jersey, doesn't include the Montpellier friendly because, apparently, the RFU didn't think that was the right thing to do :smt017 Bizarre, IMO, that they seem to acknowledge a need to right a wrong but still have th...

For attractive competition for sponsors, read Saffacens.drc_007 wrote:A replacement for the HC involving England, France and SA would be quite an attractive competition for sponsors.
They'd be all over that as a means of bringing Saracens to their intended core support

Re: The Future's Bath - The Future's Orange
Best of all was to see TangoMan's tweet when I was surfing last night - Super Gavin Henson@UnrealGavHenson - Delighted to be a part of @bathrugby always enjoyed playing there, the noise The Shed makes when the team are winning is like nowhere else. Now updated with this - nothing like making a good...

Re: Build up to the Premiership final
Beware the kiss of death. We were heavy favourites to lift the HC in 2007 having swept all before us, before Wasps came and spoiled the party. Every opposition that we face at a final deserves suitable respect I'm confident that we can win, but that win cannot be taken for granted, even if predicted...

According to my understanding of the article, the proposal has passed through the local council (building regs / planning?) and it's now up to ERC to formally approve.

Re: Toulon tickets
I don't know about other French clubs, but Toulon release ticket details very late. We went to see them play Stade Francais in early November, and they only set the time of the match some 3 weeks prior to it taking place! This match will presumably be treated differently. I agree that Tigers will pr...

Lee Audis update
About a year ago, a young Doncaster Knights Scrum Half called Lee Audis was seriously injured in a road accident. Nobody was sure that he would survive his injuries. There was a thread on this site entitled - "Doncaster scrum-half fighting for his life" in case anybody wishes to refer back...

Re: Doncaster scrum-half fighting for his life
I contacted Doncaster Knights' reception with a link to our forum post, and I got the following reply... Thank you very much for this; it is a sad time for all involved, but the club's thoughts and prayers are with him and his family - we will keep people involved as our Director of Rugby Brett Dave...

Re: Doncaster scrum-half fighting for his life
I know one of his family very well and I've seen him play locally to us. I shall forward the link to my friend, and it may find its way to the rest of the family and to Doncaster Knights.
Really wishing him a speedy recovery, and I understand he's in good hands.

Re: Day flight to Leinster
Great idea! We have already booked the weekend away, but I'm sure there would be interest from anybody not wanting to stay overnight.
