Re: HC Referees Confirmed
I am glad to see the appointment of Roman Poite as referee for the ulster match. Seriously, can't you remember the last time he ref'd the same fixture? I agree he is one of the better refs who unfortunately for us, had one of his worst games in regards to ref'ing the breakdown (or rather....not). S...

Re: Awesome Logo
Couldn't agree more with you. I must admit to being a little worried about the scrum without Ayerza, but equally was a mystified as to Logo's apparent struggling in the position. When he was first signed as RWC cover, he burst onto the scene, not only as a ball carrier, but also as a LH demolishing ...

Re: Danny Cipriani hit by a bus in Leeds.
I feel an amount of sympathy (cough, splutter, retch) for Danny Cipriani as he has clearly proven many of his critics wrong this week ~

Re: Any changes for Saturday
I could have sworn I saw both Vunipola and Wilson get on the field on Saturday and also someone wearing the 23 shirt. We guessed this was due to it being an Autumn international and not a 'competition' matchkpj tiger wrote:There was only one prop on the bench against Fiji

Re: Ref for saturday
..... the good positions and the keeping up with play that so many refs lack. I know you said Poite 'on his good days' but did you see how many times he got in the way at the weekend? As for Mr Owen ~ having awarded a penalty against us for our forwards (on the half-way line) 'not retreating' when ...

Re: Daryl Gibson
......some Crusaders attacking intent to our back line then that will only be a good thing! Like he did when he played for us? Don't actually remember it being mjuch different to how it is now when he played. Why can't people just accept they are two different games, different refereeing, different...

Re: Goneva
I have now read several posts which refer to this 'poor' pass from Goneva to Waldron when actually I think it wasn't ever meant for TT. He had a support runner on his outside who, looking at the flight of the ball would have recieved a gorgeous pass in front of him. I'm not suggesting it was TT's fa...

Re: Static Mauls
I noticed that Wayne Barnes has already started to rewrite the rule book in regards to this 'elongated' ruck. In the game at the weekend he kept warning teams to 'use it' or he'd scrum. The ball was on the ground, there were no hands on it, it was secured within a legal ruck - now others may be bett...

Re: Semi-Final Ticket Details now up
Great that the ticket details are out so early, but how come Sarries 'Know' when their game is? (I've had an e-mail selling tickets for the Sunday) and we 'apparently' don't? Something not quite right again. Does it matter? well yes, I'll be travelling to Greece on Sunday, on Saturday I'll be travel...

Re: Referees and their language skills
A couple of minor points ~ Ref's were undoubtedly assigned before the QF line ups were known, however that's no argument for not switching AR on as ref One of the commentators 'arguments' pleading the front rows case was at a scrum when Tolouse went early......I'm sorry the engagement in both langua...

Re: Ben Foden
Great to watch with ball in hand, fantastic feet & balance and a real threat when going forward, love to watch him................. However, the rest of his game as a fullback is average at best and downright poor a lot of the time. Positioning is the key skill of a fullback and that 6th sense w...

Re: today ref
I too have been a ref and like many agree & acknowledge how difficult it is however, there can be no possible justification for Roland's actions around the scrum in the 61st minute. As others have noted, a scrum was formed inside our own 10m & we got the nudge, Ospreys try to wheel (clearly ...
