Their new name could be the Brentford Nylons. :smt001
Meaning they are on the way down?

Re: Geordan Murphy

Great player, great guy, given the toughest of starts as Head Coach and again as DoR, roles he didn’t seem happy in and that translated to the field. He helped switch toward greater trust in our own home-grown youngsters and promised much without truly galvanising the squad to perform. Too nice? Too...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

The fact that Mike Ford is even a candidate says enough and speaks volumes , let him stand or fall here and give him an opportunity.Same goes for the team itself and the rest of the new and incoming staff. Being linked to a job by a journo doesnt make you a candidate, just they have a name the jour...

Be careful what you wish for. It’s not beyond imagination that we could end up back in the amateur era.

Was he one of the 30 odd employees made redundant?
The club have said they are seeking a replacement scrum coach, which would make redundancy difficult to argue, especially if it's like for like responsibilities.

As an aside is there any side that we don't dislike for one reason or another?
There are some on here that would struggle to exclude Tigers from that list atm.

Re: Other Round 22 Fixtures

I’m looking forward to Diamond’s world-beating excuse this time round (& the club’s statement too). Should be the best entertainment of the week after the stupidity of their claims at the weekend

Re: Other Round 22 Fixtures

“so that means if it's right the odds of all 16 being wrong are 1 in 2x10^22 (2 with 22 zeroes added)”

At risk of turning this into a debate about mathematics, doesn’t that depend on the testing methodology? If it’s done in batches, the odds reduce substantially...

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

Captaincy, confidence and cohesion still missing imo. Where was work on the ref that Parisse put in? Where was the request to TMO the two tries that could/should have been chalked off? I see individuals trying hard, the beginnings of a plan, and despite the falling off of tackles yesterday some hear...

Well, I’m underwhelmed but it’s OK. Still like my old kit from 1998 though.

And it may be me but I can’t find this on the App that I downloaded today.
Glad to see another fan who falls into the ‘if in doubt read the instructions’ demographic. My advice wd be to follow the instructions....

Re: Exeter Chiefs

I’ll never forget when shortly after moving down Devon for work my new boss’s secretary asked ‘Alright m’lover?’ as a greeting. So my vote would be firmly for the club to be renamed ‘M’Exeter Luvverrrz’

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

We're already over the quota. There were five Academy lads, five on Monday and four yesterday plus the two so far today, which is 16.
Unless the academy lads don’t count, in which case there are four more still to go. Or the 15 is just a smokescreen...

Didn’t get to watch the live stream so a quick question: were the rumours of an extension to the Tuesday deadline just that, rumours, so without foundation?
