Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

That's a good point if that option is there. But i don't think it would hurt them financially to have an earlier check in time on matchdays,it's only roughly once every 2 weeks and the extra staff would be covered by the extra rooms that would be booked by traveling fans etc Err... dear hotel owner...

Yeah, I don’t like that much. It’s a bit like how the likes of Center Parcs hike their prices at half term.

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

A couple of weeks ago I stayed overnight at the new hotel. I have checked with the hotel and there are currently (under review) no package deals for people going to the game or for season ticket holders. Annoyingly, let us say you want to go to a Saturday game with a 3pm kick-off, you’ll be wanting ...

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

Visiting family in Leics for the next few days and decided to try out the new Brooklyn Hotel as a dry run for when the season starts. I’m surprised there is currently no ‘package’ deal with the club - i.e. match day tickets, bed and breakfast but perhaps that will come in time. I’ll provide feedback...

I can’t think this is supported by many, including myself, who have really enjoyed his contribution for the club on and off the pitch.

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Interesting conundrum re Nadolo. He understandingly looked a little frustrated when he came on yesterday with not many minutes left on the clock. He needs minutes on the pitch to get up to full beast mode but doesn’t have the stamina to last for a full game. I’d have him on the bench again and try t...

Re: Players Awards

Newcomer - Burns. Feel like he has been marginally more influential than the others in key games.
Young player - Reffell. Consistently outstanding
Player - Montoya. All round contribution to the improvements seen in the forwards. Scrum, line out, tackling and of course tries.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Aled Walters and the Philosopher's Stone

Am I the only one seeing the Holmes and Watson joke? There's an east wind coming all the same, such a wind as never blew on England yet. It will be cold and bitter, Watson, and a good many of us may wither before its blast. But it's God's own wind none the less, and a cleaner, better, stronger land...

I haven’t seen that many Sarries matches this season, but it seems to me Tompkins should have had at least one red card in each match. How does he keep getting away with it?

Re: Red Roses vs Ireland @ Welford Road - Sunday 24th April - 12-00pm Kick Off

Watching the Red Roses team is almost getting greater for me in terms of enjoyment than watching the men’s team - I accept the fact that they win the vast majority of their matches could be a factor in this. The standard and quality of their play is admirable.

I hope they get a sell out at MWWR.

Looking at the starting line-up I reckon SB might be thinking if we can keep the game within touching distance at 60 minutes we will win this from the bench. Some impact players on the bench could make a huge difference.

Statement from Doncaster Knights - Doncaster RFC are disappointed, dismayed and disheartened by the decision of the Rugby Football Union Board to disallow the club’s application to play in the Premiership league should the Doncaster Knights win the current season’s Championship league contest.
