That says more about the general standard of officiating than Dickson himself.
He is considerably better than he was, but he's no Barnes or Owens.
That’s akin to saying that not every footballer is Ronaldo or Messi

Re: Dan Mckellar

For every Matt O'Connor , there is a Pat Howard or a Bob Dwyer....For me its about ability not nationality..... For me, jury out on Dan McK 'till this time next season. Totally agree with this and if we haven’t moved on significantly by that time then calls for him to move on would be correct imo

I felt sorry for Atkinson I was told Gloucester turned a corner!!! Looking at their side they’ve rested a few but 85-0 down with 10 minutes to go not good They have but it’s not that terrible a squad I hope they get thrashed v sharks next week Or even the week after 🤣. If Sharks are able to prepare...

Helps when you can bring Maui, Dann, Isekwe , McFarland, Billy V and Goode off the bench

Re: Karl Dickson

First of all your bias against Dickson is there for all to see he is one of the best officials around and Brizzle were lucky to get away without a penalty try.
Secondly 50 minutes in Itoje and Earl both in the bin. How do you like them apples

Highlights on YouTube. First half the pitch was fine and weather looked ok.
Rain came in the 2nd half and must have been a Monsoon when it came

Regarding captaincy I do recall an A League of Premier Cup.match over at Loughborough when I was very impressed with the captaincy of a young Tommy Reffell, not just decision making but the way he moved around encouraging his players some of whom were senior to him.In experience. Tommy was Wales U2...

Re: Leicester City Owners - Rugby investment

Yeah it’s a odd one to say noise and deflection considering it was started by a random French speaking Asian rugby twitter account with only 3.6k followers It might be nothing big, but to if it was a noise and deflection thing surely they would you know use something with more coverage and English ...

Be interesting to see what happens with the captaincy next season. Montoya is great but away for chunks and because of his position can pick up injuries. Not convinced by Liebenberg as a captain seems too quiet imo. Won’t happen but I would love for Mckellar to give it to Carnduff in a similar vein ...

I agree Sam we don’t know how much he will be involved, if at all?.
The Boks do have a history of splitting their squad, only sending some to Argentina for example.
One of the interesting things will be where they play Moody, not sure they’ve found his best position yet
