Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

World rugby needs to sort out the role of the TMO. For me it should be limited to foul play and questions over whether trys are scored correctly Agreed sometimes I wonder if it’s the TMO or the Referee in charge of the game, but TMO duties must be limited and possibly go the same way as the VAR. Wa...

Just with injuries it happened.

I feel he’s the ultimate impact player off the bench with 30 to go
Totally this though I do understand sometimes it may be horses for courses and Kata could be used in an Esterhuizen type role at 12

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

I have only watched the highlights but it struck me the number of times Steward made ground coming into the line at pace, which is dependent, a lot, of having a ball playing 12 like Kelly. I know Kata is becoming a fan favourite but imo he needs to be kept as a bench option, or wing, and develop Woo...

Re: Challenge Cup Final: Gloucester v Sharks

With reference to the game Sharks won at Connaught yesterday and it looked like they had rested a few, and safe to assume the whole squad will be up here. After some of my predictions yesterday, Saracens would over power Sale !!, I’m reluctant but believe Gloucester won’t get within 15 points of a S...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Some players have had less game time than they would have hoped and some have come in for a bit of flak from supporters on here, and presumably other platforms that our sons advise us to avoid; to deflect from their own disappointment by blaming the coaches (aka their manager) is something that wil...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

I have witnessed Mc Kellar at 3 home games this seaon pre match on the pitch in the warm ups --- NOT A PEEP FROM HIM----- AND VIRTUALLY NO INTERACTION . Which I would say is fairly common from the head coach taking an overall view and leaving different disciplines to individual coaches. Watch Borth...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Deserved red. Absolutely pathetic thuggery on the pitch. Yes, but he went in to defend his team mate. Got MoM as well. *from the important people. Don’t get this initial comment. Wasn’t thuggery he picks him up and drops him and lands on his head amongst other parts of his body. Yellow card at wors...

For those in the know how strong is the Peter Hewat rumour.

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Many thanks guys for giving us something to cheer about! Think everyone did their absolute best against a good team. We stopped them playing their usual game and our tackling was immense. Thanks again to you all. :smt038 :smt038 :smt038 Well said. Many were concerned about the result but the bp win...

Not going to say anything other that I have heard from a first hand source today that all is not well within the camp over Mckellar with a number of players not subscribing to his vision and/or methodology. Strange for you to post something negative even after a decent win. I do wonder about some o...

I understand poster’s hesitancy over Beets but he will be in the same place, at the start of next season, as both Fisilau and Vincent were at the beginning of this season for Exeter.
There is every chance with his rugby education that he could hit the ground running

Probably not now, it’s going to be in a couple of seasons time when the cost of keeping some of his young stars will rise considerably
