I think they said on a recent RL Rugby Hour that the concert stage was heavier than they (Tigers) had been told, resulting in the ground beneath the stage being badly compacted. And the solution wasn't as straightforward as just re-laying the pitch.

I think you'll be fine with your suitcase on a Sunday. Games are usually shown on one of the screens on the first floor. I'll be at Adams Park on Sunday but hopefully there will be a few other Tigers supporters there to keep you company.

I was interested by the no.8 - what happened to that 'calf injury'?

The Royal Oak on Richmond Road is what used to called The Tup.

A few others are:
- Turk's Head in St Margaret's (like the Ailsa, a bit off the beaten track)
- Eel Pie on Church St (best run pub in Twick)
- Barmy Arms on river (v. lively post-match)
- Sun Inn in Richmond (classic rugby pub)

Also the Sun Inn in Richmond worth a go - a real rugby pub.

All the trains from Reading and Windsor are being turned around at Staines/Feltham so only about half the usual number of trains have been running between Twickenham and Waterloo.

I get the train from Twickenham to Waterloo every day and it's not been good this week.

If anyone is planning to go to the All Blacks game at Twickenham on Saturday, please allow yourself plenty of time. There are severe problems on the trains due to a collapsed bridge. Sounds very unlikely this will be fixed by Saturday. Currently no trains running between Feltham and Twickenham, and ...

As it's a Sunday, you can park on single yellow lines for free, plenty of nearby roads to choose from. But don't park in the residents' parking bays, or you will get a ticket.
