Oval Park - car parking

I see the Tigers Women are at Oval Park this Saturday. I want to watch them, but have to drive (WR I use the Enderby P&R). What's the car parking like near the ground, please? I'm not disabled, but use a stick to walk, though I can walk from Bistro Pierre to WR!

Taxis at Welford Rd

I've Irish friends visiting for the Exiles game & they're asking about taxis back to the railway station after the game. Does anyone know of Leicester taxi companies they could recommend please?

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Back home now in Oxfordshire, no voice. Wondering if we'd blown it then, minutes later, Freddie slotting that divine dropped goal. In tears, even more when Tom came on. What a game, what a team: from where we were to where we are now: the most successful rugby club. Go, summer: I want to be back in ...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Heavens - but Prem Rugby's page for buying final tickets is a pain! As I couldn't see in the email an "exclusive link" for STs & members to buy tickets, I phoned Tigers office for advice. If in doubt, always phone Welford Rd - they know what they're doing & told me the blocks which...

Re: Tiffany Youngs

Such sad news: Tom and both families must be heartbroken. I'm in tears. I have no doubt that the Tigers Family will support them as best they can. I equally have no doubt that on Saturday the team will play their hearts and souls out - for Tom and Tiffany. Love and deepest sympathy to Tom and his fa...

Re: BRISTOL (A) - 26th December 2021 - 2-00pm

There we are in Oxon: 26-23. Ah well, we had to lose sometime: if we were awful it'll be a lesson and SB will have them asking questions of themselves at Oval Park and they'll get better for it. Telling ourselves this to hide the disappointment. But hang on... that's still 'latest score'. Then the B...

Re: Kevin Sinfield

What an inspiration.
Not only SB's coaching, but Kev's attitude is shining through in how our Tigers are playing now: never, never, never give in.

Well done Sir Kev, in helping such a worthy cause. A Rhino and a Tiger.

Re: Saints Away - 30th October 2021

I, like others, thought this game might see the end of our unbeaten run. How humbly I hang my head in shame at such doubt: 55pts past the Saints at The Gardens. What a team - and now, after the years of underachieving, they really are a team. Thank you, Steve Borthwick and Andrea Pinchen for giving ...

Re: Geordan Murphy

"By mutual consent". I should coco: in the last sentence Tom says: "it was a difficult decision." No doubt in my mind: Geordie was sacked & I suspect, as has been opined: Rory going as well wasn't unconnected. But, at the end: thank you, Geordan, a truly solid servant to the ...

Re: Season Tickets

I'm saddened that someone's had an experience of bad behaviour in the Crumbie (& that the stewards asked THEM to move, not the perpetrators!). If the OP is still reading, I'll speak up for the old stand: we've been there since we bought our STs, which was ... a long time ago. We sit in amongst s...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Moved from another thread: Brinkmanship. If they call the club's bluff, where will they find employment - with better T&Cs than on offer from Tigers - at this time, when most clubs aren't financially secure? One or two might attract offers (how are the French placed?), but many will be seen as l...

WFH, on some pretty dry old stuff, took a break to visit the forum & found this. 30min out for rugby to put a smile on your face. I'ts so easy to forget the classy players Tigers had then (& the Baa-baas too!). Great break out... now back to work!

Re: Plan to complete premiership season

I rather liked the idea. There's a good chance the beer would be cheaper than at Welford Rd too (& maybe more choice than Tiger)!
