Re: Englands campaign
Another thread on here has just set me thinking about this current 6 nations that is about to start. I have never(and I have seen most games since the late 1960's)been so disinterested about Englands prospects than this years. I am usually excited to see the campaign, hope springing that this will be...

Re: Salary cap to force Tuqiri out at the end of the season
Bill W (2) Tigers could almost trivially generate an extra £1M of cash per annum. Increase ticket prices, increase programme prices and provide a half decent catering and bar service. As per usual this man talks rubbish !!! At least half his posts are tripe. How much time has he got on his hands ? H...

Re: OFFICIAL LOTE TUQIRI HAS SIGNED
Our midfield play is dire at best.
The passing is slow predicable and :censored: pedestrian. No angles no imagination no chip through chip overs etc. I always rated TV but what wasted talent.
Hopefully I’m wrong but as I’ve said we could have the great Lomu out there but all he’d get is a cold.

Re: OFFICIAL LOTE TUQIRI HAS SIGNED
It’s not a good signing, if he can’t be passionate about playing for his country & club why will he for Tigers.
Mark my words he’ll be playing up in a few months plus he’ll never get the ball on the wing.
We could have Bolt out there and it still wouldn’t reach there.

GP teams seem to feel that if the ball is more than 5 yards from the nearest forward then it's at terrible risk.
Love it, about sums us up.

When are we going to start to play Rugby
I know 100 reasons are going to be given why we play like we have no backs on the pitch, but we won't bully the better teams in the Prem or Europe. I was expecting more having a back as captain.
But could have being watching a repeat from years back

Re: Wonderful quote from Dick Best
Kinoulton said Dean Richards is as guilty as hell, but I am sure that there are many other coaches out there that cannot sleep easily at night, knowing that they have somehow maintained a squeaky clean reputation whilst Dean Richards is treated as a pariah. Agreed, but you have to act. would you let...

You can be both :censored: minded & stubborn without being a disgraceful cheat. Everyone wants to win only the weak minded fools would go that low & think it's part of winning a game, where would he stop to win a game ???

Re: Has professionalism cost rugby 'a piece of it's soul'?
fleabane said I don't know that professionalism is to blame, I think that current culture is reflected in our sport, as in many others. Richie Benaud said some wise words on C5 on Saturday to this effect, in respect of cricket and its values. People do things they think they will get away with - thi...

jgriffin said Why equate questioning or debating with having no faith in Cockers and the Management? Because unfortunately that is what they do !!! They follow like sheep and expect everyone else to do the same. I often wonder if they are the same in the rest of their lives not questioning anyone or...

Re: RoG - Is hanging too good for him?
When they play well or win a cup etc players talk about it for the rest of their lives on TV, radio etc. I got sick to death of the "99 call" Doc's on TV. But they play like an idiot who's left his brain in the dressing room and they expect to never hear it again, they can't have it both w...

Others earn caps for being flair players, capable of doing something extraordinary to turn a match - Austin Healey, Freddie Michalak, Danny Cipriani.
But not also solid in their position ??????
