Re: Matt O'Connor unhappy with England
Misses the point: The real travesty isn't that Farrell is starting at 10 ahead of Flood - the real travesty is that Flood's not on the bench whilst Charlie Hodgson gets the berth! At last someone else who sees the real traesty, it should be Flood and Farrell fighting for the starting spot. Charlie ...

Re: Just when I thought I'd heard it all Pt.2
Seems perfectly sensible to me - all they'd need is a braille speedometer and a Sat Nav. They ignore everyone else on the road anyway so I doubt we'd notice their lack of vision...

Re: England Team for NZ
This team has been picked on size rather than ability with no creative players in the starting 15.
It's going to be a long afternoon watching England defend - dull dull dull!

For me it's all to do with socks.....Kronfeld, Castro, and Hamilton all ran out onto the hallowed turf from day one with socks round their ankles (Deano style) ready to do battle.

I think you'll find it's probably to do with the games Setanta were going to show before they went 'pop'.GrumpyDad wrote: You do ask yourself what the heck are they playing at
I have to agree though, I'm especially not keen on Sunday games.

Re: Best motorway car park?
I spent the night in the outside lane on the M5 near Tewkesbury when they had all the floods a couple of years ago, that was lovely trying to get some sleep whilst staring at the back end of a Fiat Torpedo (or whatever…) and listening to the rain on the roof. Very strange though wondering around on ...

Re: Pain in childbirth is a good thing!
I don't think just because something is natural we should all just grin and bear it...if it hurts like hell-we have pain killers-take them. So if the result of my previous comment was Welford Tigress or Tiger Eye giving me a swift and violent knee to the ‘soft dangly bits’ could that be construed a...

Re: Pain in childbirth is a good thing!
I do tend to agree though, that if it was the male that had to give birth, then by now it would have been made painless. Now you're just pandering to the female myth of painful chilbirth, I think you'll find it's just like having a large no.2 hence the saying "giving birth to Bernard"!! :...

Re: TV did Tigers waste an opportunity ?
I’ve been a fan of TV over the years, I could live with his defensive frailties (which he did improve on) for the fear he put into the opposition. What really started to frustrate me though was his reluctance to take contact in attack if there was no space to run around the defender, I was forever w...
