Re: Hard luck Wales
Knockout rugby started last weekend. The object is to score at least one point more than the opposition. There is no law that stipulates it has to be attractive or that teams has to go balls-out all the time. France did enough to win today without expending valuable reserves of energy. Wales missed...

Hard luck Wales
While I never wanted them to win, I have to say that the best side lost today. France never looked interested, and Wales adapted well in the 2nd half.
Commiserations, and we all now look forwards to the 6 nations with renewed interest.

Re: Star Signing
The season, fixture list and compensation for missed players will not be sorted out fairly and to the benefit of ALL the clubs, i.e. including Tigers, until the lesser clubs put their self-interest to one side. Or when hell freezes over. My money's on the latter. How do you propose sorting it out &...

Re: Oh Manu
"We don't really like the English, and it's better to say that than be hypocritical," he announced. "We respect them, well in my case at least I respect them, but you couldn't say we have the slightest thing in common with them." Fair enough, but they don't define themselves by i...

Re: the table never lies
We wil definitely get better as our players return from the World Cup. The question is, how quickly? How will our players react to leaving the glitz, glamour, and media spotlight and returning to bread and butter club rugby? How quickly will they bed themselves back into a team they haven't been a ...

Re: Good luck, Wales.
I refuse to support Wales in the RWC, nothing to do with hating them or anything like that, but we'll never live it down. Yep, that's my basis too. Despite having done it ourselves and been in 2 other finals, we will never hear the end of it. Just think, someone might even find that Max Boyce is st...

Re: LV Cup
Play the best side available. Reasons being;
1. we need to get the big guns playing together again
2. the development side have already had lots of practise in the last 6 weeks
3. the club needs to gain some confidence again and get back to winning ways
4. it's Llanelli, nuff said.

Re: Oh Manu
Dear, oh dear, oh dear. What a load of guff gets dragged up about players and countries again. The rules are the rules, and every country has players from other nationalities playing for them. We have Manu etc, Wales have their no 8 (can't remember the spelling, too S Pacific for me to easily recall...

Re: Being turned off rugby
I'm certainly NOT turned off by Rugby, currently watching NZ v Argentina and hoping for a miracle as ever. Argentina just got ahead with a try following a sublime pass from Contepomi, splendid. At international level, I expected nothing more from England than what we got, and if everyone thinks back...

Re: Good luck France
I nailed my colours to the flag-post in my teens (the 70's), and I'm sure as hell not going to change now. I will continue with my approach of supporting anyone but Wales. Next week I'll be shouting for France. If that doesn't work, it'll be whoever else is left. If it comes to it, and I think it'll...
