Re: Eddie Jones

Eddie is a big boy and gives as much , probably even more ,than he gets from the press . He's heavily defended and covered in Teflon by the good and mighty at Twickenham .

He's also very well paid for his services.

Re: Eddie Jones

Totally agree. Jones has already made up his mind about who's in his WC squad , and if there are injuries who will be called in . These players will have been conditioned to play in Jones ' 'style' of rugby for WC . So why would he waste his time looking at anyone else ? He might as well use this op...

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?

A very sad and embarrassing day for the club and loyal genuine rugby supporters. Be in no doubt we knew what we were doing .You don't make errors for 5 years in a row by accident. Chappie makes a valid point about two senior people in our club who have been very vocal in recent times about being ope...

Re: 6 Nations 2022

Unfortunately it is too late to replace Teflon coated Sir Eddie for WC, he should have gone 3 years ago. A lack of succession planning by RFU who ,quite frankly ,couldn't manage their way of a paper bag . So buckle in and hope for a quarter final place.

I have to say I'm embarrassed by that shocking piece of ill discipline from someone you has just got back in the team .Apart from being dumb and mindless it might cost us the game . It was nearly a red .

Re: Saracens (Away) - Saturday 05th March 2022 - KO 3-00pm

No Montoya and Cole in FR. Back row looks light and unbalanced so clearly Steve will be happy with a LBP. If we sneak a win all the better as we have done a few times this year.
Tigers and Sarries clearly a shoe in for home semi and meet again in final.

Re: 6 Nations 2022

For couple of years ,about 8 years ago, he was a world class player ,but sadly has declined since then to no more than a potentially good impact player at club level.Jones must realise this and move on for next WC otherwise we'll be no more than semi finalists.

Re: 6 Nations 2022

Jones' gamble has backfired again. He is lucky it didn't happen in the game at least this way he can find a proper replacement before kick off.

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?

It looks like we are co operating with the right parties in this investigation. I'm sure a club with the culture and standing of Tigers can't be involved in in such a grubby and sordid claim? We are better than that aren't we ?If the timescale going back to 2019 is accurate then our current Chairper...

Re: Chris Ashton

If the situation is that desperate we have Cobus VW don't we ? Surely a better option than The Splash . Other options to bring SAR or JO back or even Tom Varndel.

Chris Boyd

Not often much said here about Saints ,but credit where it's due . Boyd has put Saints in a good place for someone to take over and push on . He strikes me a as genuine rugby person and comes across very well. With a bit more cash to build a stronger squad they would be top 4 no doubt. Any ex Tigers...

BBC Radio Leicester Tigers Rugby Show this week

Excellent show this week . In particular Ian C talking about issues around the events around pre Borthwick days and where the club was and managed at that time . Clearly anybody who knows anything about our club know who is is talking about ,and I don't mean GM ! I can only assume his availability m...

Re: Genge leaving

Posting this video tells you a lot about the real person doesn't it . As a rugby player no question he is international class ,but in respect of captainacy material way short of the mark . If happened in industry and commerce it would be deemed Gross Misconduct, Summary Dismissal ,immediate effect a...

Re: Genge leaving

Nobody should be surprised at this news , has said many times he wants to go home but maybe not Bristol but somewhere else close by ? Exeter or even Bath if Bruce C will pay him enough! With they money we are paying him ,the fact he's a shoe in England starter so not available half the season ,this ...
