Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Why is no one mentioning Hanro as an option for England?

I feel we were pretty exposed in the midfield against Leinster, as much as I love DK and Porter I do wonder if we are lacking a bit of quality at the highest level.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 Squad and transfers thread part 2: The Lion, the Wig and the Wardrobe
Quite. I think the demise of Irish could actually be bad news for Watson. There's so very good "value for money" back 3 players now available - Loader probably being the most attractive. I wonder if LI folding increases his chances of ending up in France post RWC? That’s so key regarding ...

Suspect given Cockers’ announcement today that England are preparing to confirm the coaching setup for the World Cup and we wanted to get in ahead of that

Re: The next England Coach.
What I mean by that is I believe that NZ team with McCaw,Read,Kaino,Dagg,Ben Smith,Conrad Smith,Nonu etc etc probably would have cleaned up regardless of whoever was coach but then again we always get told that SCW was the mastermind behind 2003 so perhaps it varies by situation But what about the ...

Rules are here https://www.premiershiprugby.com/about-premiership-rugby/about-us/faqs/ HOW MANY FOREIGN OR OVERSEAS PLAYERS CAN PLAY IN THE PREMIERSHIP? It is important to note that the legal definition of foreign players is different to one of non-English players. In addition, players can fall und...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
We’re probably looking at next Autumn and thinking we could be without Pollard, Kelly, Moroni and Scott plus Steward and possibly Kini. Which would leave us very thin on the ground if we then throw in injuries and suspensions we could be in big trouble. Gopperth looks a sensible addition to me base...

Van Wyk is another who could move on to free up funds.
Lavanini must have freed up quite a bit and he wasn't replaced with a like for like in terms of cap.

Similar to Smith and Simmonds being picked for the Lions whilst not being regulars for England I suppose.

Re: Tigers vs Quins - 05th December 2021 - 3-00pm
I think it is important to keep the squad together and not split into 1st xv and 2nds. We need to show that good performances will be rewarded so I would expect a couple of the prc team to feature against quins. JVP is an obvious candidate with Lenny playing a lot of rugby for England, equally Stewa...

Have to say that I didn't enjoy RT earlier. The whole issue around Chiefs stuck in my throat. Who is the WASPS CEO or whatever he is to say that Chiefs are "appropriating culture" by their chant, use of headdress, club badge etc. He said he wasn't intending to create an issue. Oh yes he w...
