My understanding is that it's not the players limited to 17 games, it's actually the team. So therefore if you are like our U15's or 16's and have over 25 players in the squad, it makes it extremely difficult. The 17 games is not just limited to League and Cup games either, it includes non-league ga...

Positives for today:

The sun is still shining - this must be a record for consecutive days
It's only 2 & 1/2 hours until I go home
I start my new training programme at the gym tonight
It's the best beer garden weather
I'm buying food for a bbq tomorrow providing the weather stays the same!

The main changes surround the lineout and they aren't that bad, just tweaks like Iain says. But like everyone else I agree that being able to collapse a maul could raise a problem over player safety, but has this rule been trialled in S14 (I think it has, just not sure) and has there been any report...

You can't expect young lads of 18 and 19 to come in and play first team rugby against experienced people like - say - Borthwick, Wilkinson, even Dayglo. People would be complaining like crazy if that happened and we got slaughtered, the obvious answer is a mix of good experienced players from anywh...

On the BBC wbsite it says that he won't be able to play for North Harbour in NZ in the summer? Whats all this about was he going to leave Wasps or was it a keep fit thing? Apparently he was off to North Harbour to get more game time and continue his development. It was always intended that he moved...

Without wanting, or inviting, a barrage of abuse, but how do we know the players are unhappy under the current regime? I know there are people on this board with ears very close to the ground.

You're right Whitecap the touch judge should have gotten involved, however I think he was put off slightly by his performance in the lead up to the 2nd Tigers try and maybe by the abuse he probably got from the Bath fans for it! However, no excuse, he's a professional and there is no place for that ...

I think we can learn from the shambles of the first half. But we can take a lot of heart from the 2nd half performance, we made the tackles, looked slightly more creative too.

Although saying that he did just miss a shocking attempt at a tackle on Croft by James. High and no attempt to wrap the arms around Croft.

I just made a comment about that on the game thread. Very good refereeing indeed.

Great piece of refereeing by Barnes there. Tigers scored a (disputed by Bath) try by F Murphy. He took the two captains to one side and said something along the lines of 'two England representatives with a duty to represent the game, don't come to me shouting and pointing'. Not an exact quote, but v...

Varndell over the try line but unfortunately forward pass in the build up. Kayser just made a 30 metre dash after a couple of missed tackles by Bath players. On the whole Tigers have improved. Less missed tackles and not on the back foot so much. Actually had 61% of possession at one point. We do lo...
