I was just about to post something about this very issue as I went to one of the RFU roadshows on Tuesday (very poorly attended but then it wasn't publicised til the last minute). The presentation and the document do include alot of interesting background information on the arguments currently going...

The ticketing arrangements for the Final have nothing to do with the RFU. It is an ERC tournament and they allocate the tickets, deal with sales etc.

So for once the RFU cannot be blamed!

Great idea, I have just done the same!

This is scandalous - I can see the reasoning for having the tickets on ticketmaster to try and ensure a sell-out but only reserving 9,000 tickets for each of the finalists is simply ridiculous.

Its almost worth trying to start complaining to the ERC and the press!!

OMG what a result! One of the best games (both teams) I have ever seen.

I had the same problem - basically the tickets won't be released for sale on viagogo until after the date when bath have to return any spares.

Once these bath spares have been sold then the viagogo site will become active i.e. about 5 days before the game at a guess!

You have to pay a £4 admin charge but can then buy tickets.
